Our brand new chalet is 1600 square feet, and easily handles 6-8 people. We have 140 acres and overlook many more in our private valley. Our deck elevation is at 9000 feet. We are completely solar powered with a backup generator. All brand new stainless appliances. The master suite is in the full height loft and there is a guest bedroom on the first floor. We have two glass walk in showers, one in the master suite and the other on the first floor. Plenty of room to throw down a couple of sleeping bags in front of the fireplace. Besides the breathtaking views from all directions, we are proud of our beautiful moss rock fireplace, the rock all taken right off our property. Plenty of firewood cut and ready to use. I fell in love with the Sangre de Christo range while in the Boy Scouts and later when I served in the army at Ft. Carson, Colorado. I also was in the National Ski Patrol and skiied at most of the areas in Colorado. When we found our property, that was it!
