This newly remodeled upstairs apartment is situated in the beautiful town of Fort Collins, alongside City Park. Our central location allows guests to stay in town, bike around, enjoy our many micro-breweries and restaurants, or drive a short distance into the Rocky Mountains to hike and enjoy other mountain filled activities! If you're looking for a quiet getaway, you can cozy up in our guest apartment, enjoy some sunshine in the back yard, or stroll across the road to City Park and enjoy a cup of coffee on a park bench. The park includes acres of rolling hills, tennis courts, a small lake, water park, swimming pool, paths for walking or running, and areas to picnic with friends and family.
The apartment is fully furnished with beautiful antique pieces to match the historic beauty of the time period the house was built in. With two large bedrooms, each accommodated with a queen size bed, bathroom with tub and steam shower, living room, and kitchen with breakfast bar, guests will have plenty of space to enjoy their stay. Additional access to use both backyard and patio for large gatherings and meetings during the summer is available upon request.
We are only a 5 minute bike ride from Colorado State University and even shorter drive for visiting professors or family members of the students attending CSU. A short 8 minute bike ride will drop you right into the heart of Old Town Fort Collins. Our central location provides a unique opportunity for guests to both see the community, and have a quiet place to rest after their long days!
The apartment comes with courtesy internet access for no additional charge, and space to park a bike for transportation. If you're traveling by car, there is plenty of space to park in front of the apartment, as well as covered entrance to unload your baggage and possessions upon arrival. An additional entrance located at the back of the apartment allows guests to come and go as they please, providing privacy for both guests and owner.
I am a small business owner who moved to Fort Collins in the 70's with my family, looking for a beautiful spot to settle, and have loved living here ever since!
This property boasts the architecture of one of Fort Collin's early architects. Being an Interior Designer with a history background, this home was our project and delight to restore back to it's original beauty.
Every morning in the summer, before the day gets going in full force, I brew myself a cup of coffee, grab the morning paper, and head to the back porch. As I sip my coffee, read the goings on of the world and finish a cross word puzzle, I get to enjoy the beauty surrounding me and warmth of the sunshine on my face. From my little spot along City Park, I'd have to say there is no better way to start the day.
Fort Collins has a wide variety of Micro Breweries, including New Belgium, Odell's, Equinox, and many others. Fort Collins is also one of the most restaurant filled cities per capita and boast many miles of bike trails making it the number two bike friendly city in the country. We are home to Colorado State University, New West Fest, and Tour de Fat. We sit at the base of the Rocky Mountains, only 40 miles from Estes Park, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. With a lazy winding river that goes through Fort Collins, you can enjoy fishing and tubing just minutes from City Park. We love our town, and hope you'll enjoy it as well!
