In a white stucco building a few doors down from Winston Churchill’s London residence. 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Sleeps 8. Lower ground floor, unusual spacious apartment. Fascinating architecture. Also one bed sleeps 4. Both apartments have access to private square two acre garden - think film Nothing Hill- does not include Hugh Grant, unfortunately, however he does have a house in Chelsea a stroll away!

Five min walk to station, shops, chocolate society :) pubs and bars within ten mins walk restaurants, supermarket, everything you could need. Major tourist attractions on your doorstep. A short walk to everything but stepping into the square is like another world period houses and calm.

Birds and wildlife abound in the garden, foxes have been seen at night and you can on occasion bump into local Chelsea footballers in the garden! You don’t get wilder than that!

The apartments are in one of the best locations for sightseeing in London. An easy walk from museums, art galleries, major sights, etc and yet when you turn the corner into the square its like stepping back in time with large white stucco houses, the mews houses at the back which used to be stables housing horses . You can imagine the carriages going around the square, especially first thing in the morning when you often hear the horses of the household cavalry go past.

You can imagine Winston Churchill, who lived a few doors away, walking in the garden puffing on his cigar. Just across in Belgravia you can see the house where film star Vivian Leigh lived and the street where Lady Thatcher still lives and where several heads of state from around the world had their homes. Walk ten minutes from the apartments and you can watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.

The queen's gallery is five minutes from the apartment and the mews where you can see her horses.

If you feel energetic you can walk from park to park barely seeing a pavement , through st James’s, green park into Hyde park and along by the serpentine to Kensington palace. On the way home shop all the way from Harrods, through Knightsbridge and down Sloane square. Sloane sq is a 15 min walk away (approx) . Stop at one of the many coffee shops on the way home. Our favorite again five mins walk with amazing cakes and coffee.

You don’t have to worry about carrying groceries far, a big supermarket is just across the road at the end of the square.in the evening walk to one of the two theatres in five minutes or take a short taxi / bus ride into theatre land or maybe visit china town? Go to the British museum, hop on a bus to south Kensington ten mins and visit the victoria and Albert museum, a show at the Albert hall or the natural history museum.

A 15 min walk (approx ) takes you down past victoria station, past Westminster cathedral and the houses of parliament and the abbey to the Thames. See London from the millennium wheel.

Take a boat down to Greenwich and visit the maritime museum or how about the showboat? Taking in the evening scenery down the river as you enjoy a meal, dancing and songs from the west end shows.

A hop on hop off bus tour can be taken from the front of victoria station this takes in all the major sights. Visit the tower and see the crown jewels.

Any shopping addicts??? Visit Westfield Europe’s largest in town shopping and leisure destination take a bus direct from victoria station. Takes approx 30 mins.

2 bed 2 bathroom apartment. Private entrance, lower ground floor but set around its own small patio. Each of the main rooms has a large window facing the patio. Apartment comprises of two bedrooms, (one in vault conversion with wetroom, fascinating architecture). One kitchen, two bathrooms, both with w.c. one lounge, one TV room. and cloakroom with seperate wc and sink. On entering the property it can easily be separated into two halves off of the main entrance hall for privacy .ideal for two couples as each side has its own bedroom, lounge/ tv room, bathroom / shower room. Share one kitchen. Can sleep EIGHT with sofa bed in the main lounge and in the second lounge. In white stucco building ( thomas cubbitt )a few doors down from Winston Churchill’s house. Square garden has exotic flowers, wildlife, birds, foxes have been seen at night.

    £200 security deposit payable within eight weeks of arrival, returnable within 14 days of departure subject to any deductions for damages/ loss/ breakages.

    A £ 50 cleaning fee is payable with the balance, within eight weeks of arrival date.

    For stays of two weeks or over ,a £50 a week cleaning fee will be charged, this includes apartment clean, linens, towels etc this is payable within eight weeks of booking OR guests undertake to keep the apartment clean to the owners standards.

  • Cancellation policy. Cancellations must be received in writing.Please contact us for full policy.
    Cancellations are subject to 30% of total balance plus any bank charges, being non refundable. Cancellations within eight weeks of arrival are not permitted and subject to 100% of the balance being non refundable. Clients should consider taking out the appropriate travel insurance which covers them in the event of cancellation.

    A charge of £20-£50 is made if a key is lost and you have to be let back into the apartment (depending on time of day/ night )and key replaced. If the electronic garden key is lost we charge £100 . owner reserves the right to withdraw apartment availability at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.

    Any persons booking the apartment will have been deemed to have read understood and agreed with our terms and conditions. The booking constitutes the contract.
  • Disclaimer. All stays on the premises are entirely at the visitor/ purchases own risk. The owner will not be held liable for any injury/ death/ disappointment /damages to persons. Loss/ theft/damages to property while on or in the vicinity of the property or otherwise. We are a group of basque frineds that travel all years holidays. This year we decided to go to London and spent 9 days in these flats.
The experience was really perfect. Quiet and well communicated place, near to Victoria Station and the center of London giving us us the possibility to move quick and easy to manage our journeys.
The appartments were confortable, clean and well maintained, pretty suitable for families like us. With all furniture and devices needed to be conforteble.
And the most was the friendly and nice attitude of caroline. She was there to get us and gave all information and detaills, even her mobile phone and way to contact with her.
We enjoy our holidays and decided that we´ll repite this kind of hosting.
Nothing more to say that we have recommended it to some friends that will go there in the next future.
Using our language I´ll say:

Just perfect!

We were 5 people travelling on business and we have really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Everything in it is very practical, comfortable and at the same time beautiful. Of course clean and well-maintained. And the location of the apartment turned for us to be the most convenient, because we wanted to combine business trip with sightseeing which from Victoria Station district is the best to do, for those who are walk-fans or transport-fans.
If you prefer home-made breakfast, you have everything for preparing it in the kitchen, and two supermarkets are just about 5 minutes to walk. If you enjoy eating out, there are plenty of cafes for different tastes.
One tip: if you want to exchange money, the best rate we found in London was on Victoria Street.
So if we come again to London, we are sure to ask Caroline and her husband to welcome us again, more than that we will recommend this apartment to everyone acquainted to us who is to go to London.

A beautiful week in a beautiful LONDON

First of all, I just want to underline that London is an excting and charming city: It must be visited once at least. If you have the chance to book this apartment your holiday will be really perfect!!!!Me and my four friends returned from Eangland only a week ago, we spent a great time in the city and in this apartment. The zone is simple and quiet, in a very good position. We got up,had breakfast and just five minutes walking we found Victoria Station where we took the bus or the metro (I suggest to buy the travel card for a day or three or a week, it's really convenient because you don't have the problem of tickets for each travel). We also visited the apartment's beautiful garden. it's so tidy and colorful!!In the apartment you will find everything you need (so you can have lighter suitcases) and also you can stay in a good and warm temperature, it's very very cold outside.... The rooms are well placed, comfortable and the three bathrooms are excellent especially when there are many people!!
Caroline is a nice and friendly owner, she is always ready to help you....We are happy for having met her and we hope to return in London very soon !!!!You will spend a good time in LONDON and in Caroline's home!!!

I had 4 friends visiting far far far away from Taiwan and found our group too large to squeeze into my shared flat in London. Eventually I found Caroline's flat on this website, which my friends and I absolutely adored. We were all very pleased with the smart decision to book this flat as our holiday apartment rental.

The flat has been well maintainted & is clean and incredibly spacious. What I also appreciate is the layout of this flat, as there are three rooms for bedrooms (one being the main lounge with a sofabed). This proved useful for two of my friends who happen to be a couple and need some privacy on their own. I could easily imagine a family travelling with the parents staying in the main bedroom while the kids loving the cute round bed!

The location of this flat is also fantastic. Being a Londoner living around bankside myself, I would not easily label a random flat "easy to commute". I was however so pleased with the convenience of living around this place. With bus 24 it is easy to go to city centre (direct to Chinatown/soho, hence westend). The vincity to Victoria train/coach station also comes in handy, as we planned a day trip to Cambridge and were able to get our coach with ease. For people not familiar London, Pimlico is also a cute and nice area to stay as it is close to city centre but at the same time quite and safe.

The owner Caroline has provided us with warm welcome and is lovely and helpful. The "information pack" they gathered for visitors is at least as good as lonely planet to know the surrending area and to get some ideas on how to enjoy travelling in London.

There is a large Sainsbury within walking distance and some fairly nice cafes/restaurants nearby. My friends would probably not have enjoyed their stay in London as much had I chosen to locate ourselves elsewhere and in another flat. I am therefore more than happy to provide the credit that this flat and Caroline well deserve.

We were six Italian girls and we were in the apartment for three days.
We found them very well. Everything was clean! Caroline was friendly and explained to us how everything worked! The style was very nice and because in the apartment was everything, we had to buy almost anything!
London is wonderful, and if I return, I would certainly be one of the apartments of Caroline!
