From the very first contact, Victor, the owner, was attentive and helpful. Once we arrived at the apartment, we were more than thrilled with how beautiful, new, impeccably clean and spacious the flat was. Much care went in to renovating the flat to incorporate the old and new. We really appreciated the old door that was hung as a headboard, the exposed rock walls, the beam ceilings and all of the old world touches as we wanted a true European feel to the place we selected to stay as well as modern conveniences.
Throughout our stay we called on Victor for recommendations for shows and restaurants and things to do in Barcelona. He was always available and loved helping us discover the wonderful things the city has to offer. He was a perfect host.
The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect. We had so much fun walking all around the neighborhood finding restaurants and shops and easily walking to many sites like the Palau de la Musica, Barcelona Cathedral, Picasso museum, Arc de Triomf, and La Rambla. There is also a beautiful market very close where we bought fresh vegetables, fruit, bread and cheese.
At the end of each day, we felt so special as we returned to our very own apartment that we called home and not some hotel where all the rest of the tourist stayed!
Thank you to Victor and family for providing such a lovely apartment and making our first trip to Spain absolutely wonderful!
