This location was perfect for our weekend away from the norm. Everything we need was either already in the unit, or just a short drive away.
This townhouse was nicely furnished, we had everything we needed. It is the last unit at the end of the street so it was very quiet. Lots of windows and full of light. We enjoyed our getaway and played both Eagle Ridge and Eagle Crest Golf Resort. Just what we were looking for. Would definitely enjoy staying there again.
New central Oregon Destination
We usually visit Central Oregon for our anniversary and family get togethers.
We have always stayed a facility south of Bend.
Eagle Crest will be our new destination from now on.
We had a very nice stay. The location is quiet and at the end of a cul-de-sac. Convenient, just two blocks away from the lakeside pool/sprinkler area, horse riding and tennis courts. You can do biking but need to watch where you go, it is up on a hill area so if you go down you must come back up! Furnishings and home were great, plenty of cookwear and we weren't really lacking for anything. One lawn type chair would be a plus, and the deck gets pretty hot so you need to have footwear.
The stream is neat and sounds great, but to get to it you have to go out the front door and walk around the side of the house to get to it since there isn't a gate on the deck railing. Kitchen was well furnished and we weren't lacking anything. I think it is a nicer area than the main resort section, the pool was less crowded and the sprinkler area is nice in the heat. They had a food cart on site for snacks as well. Beds were great, tub/shower as well, lots of space. We did one of their jigsaw puzzles and played a few of the games as well, and watched a couple of movies. It's only about 45 minutes from Lake Billy Chinook, we took a day trip there and rented a ski boat and pulled the kids around on the inner tube. Overall a great vacation and would definitely come back.
Great time with the family!
We had a great time during our stay! Will definitely be coming back to this rental in the future. Very spacious.
We've stayed in a few different properties at Eagle Crest and this might be the best yet. There was more than enough room for our family of four. The creek is mere steps away, interesting hikes no matter which way you turn and pony rides just down the street. Internet and cable were good. There was a great supply of DVDs for grown-ups and kids alike. This might become our go-to Eagle Crest location.
ps - If you're looking for something to do while in Central Oregon, I can't recommend the High Desert Museum more highly. I hadn't been in 20 years and it is a first class facility in every regard. Part museum, part zoo, part "Colonial Williamsburg", it had something for everyone.
