Garden Valley House Rental Photos and Description
House, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 12)
This cozy Garden Valley vacation rental cabin is spacious and inviting, with exposed timber beams and a brick hearth in the living area and log-hewn beds for a good night's sleep. Overlooking the Payette River, this charming vacation rental cabin has a wraparound deck with a staircase leading down to a swimming hole. Fishermen can cast their lines right from the deck, and you'll enjoy the spectacular views from every room in the house!
The great room has its own fireplace, leather chairs and cozy sofas for lounging, and even a foosball table for rainy afternoon entertainment. There is a TV with DVD and satellite cable, and even wireless Internet access for those who want to stay connected.
The full kitchen is spacious enough for a few cooks to share the meal preparation, and has all the appliances and cookware needed to serve a large group (including a full-sized refrigerator, oven with stovetop, coffee maker & grinder, toaster, blender, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and glassware). The dining table seats ten guests, and the dishwasher makes clean-up a breeze!
The timber ceilings and hardwood accents may give the impression of a rustic retreat, but this cabin was built for discerning travelers. The master bedroom is wonderfully romantic, with a king bed, gas fireplace, reading nook overlooking the river, attached bath, and private entrance onto the deck.
There is another bedroom downstairs with two twins, and upstairs are three more bedrooms. Two have queen beds, though your guests may have to flip a coin for the room with beautiful picture windows overlooking the river! The fifth bedroom is perfect for a small family: it has a full bed, twin bed, and pint-sized furniture for younger visitors (along with some pretty great views of its own!). With its five bedrooms and three full baths, the home is comfortable for up to twelve guests to share.
The real adventure begins just beyond your door. The river below awaits your fishing and paddling, and the Boise National Forest beckons with trails for hikers, mountain bikers, and snowshoers. The famous Boise/Lowman/Banks Loop attracts motorcycle riders in the warmer months, and the region is a hubbub of snowmobilers in the winter.
Please note that the road to reach this vacation rental cabin includes a short but steep section near the river, and 4WD and/or chains are required in snowy or icy weather. Pets are welcome with prior approval and a $20/nightly fee.
