Owned and operated by a Swiss-American family, this quaint apartment on the lower level offers a cozy, comfortable environment with a slightly European flair.

Whether you are coming to Rochester to visit friends or family, on a business trip, or needing to visit the Mayo Clinic, we can offer you a nice place to stay. Our one bedroom apartment is fully furnished with a full bathroom, a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee machine. The bedroom is equipped with a king sized bed that can also be separated into two twin beds. The living room includes free cable TV and free WiFi Internet for use with notebooks, tablets and smart phones. There is also a sofa that can convert into a bed for up to two additional guests. A washer and dryer are available on site.

Free parking is available on the street right in front, and you’ll be within walking distance to Broadway and just blocks from downtown. There are shopping opportunities, restaurants and gas stations all within minutes, and the Mayo Clinic is just 8 blocks away.

If you have children, this apartment can accommodate as well. In addition to the sofa being able to extend into a secondary bed, we also have a baby crib and a children’s bed on site.

There is a fenced in yard for kids to play in and two parks are within walking distance. There are also bike, jogging and walking trails near by.

The owners live right on site and will be there for you if you have any questions or needs.

You can add different services at additional fees (making beds, room cleaning, bedding change, babysitting, coffee, pick-up and shuttle services.)

We will do what we can to make this 'your home' while away from home.

About Diana Erwin

We are a younger family (half American - half Swiss) who love guests and enjoy hospitality!

We recently moved back to the USA after 10 years in Switzerland and are excited to be able to offer this home to visitors.

Very convenient and homey...

We were looking for a quiet place to stay during our daughter's volleyball tournament, and we found it! It was like having our own little apartment in town - very convenient and homey...we loved the bunnies and guinea pigs! We'll certainly come back again the next time we're in Rochester. Thanks again!

They are very accomodating...

We originally rented the apartment for only eight days, and when my husband had to have more testing, we extended for three days and then had to extend again and Matthew and Diana made special arrangements with their other renters so we could stay. They are very accomodating and we are greatful for all they did for us!

We are thankful we found this gem!

This was our first experience with Mayo and we could not have found a more perfect place to stay! We missed our kids so much, and it helped knowing there was a sweet family upstairs. When a snow storm blew in, the home owners made sure we could get to our car and scrape our windshield. We are thankful we found this gem.
