Barefoot Resort is located across the waterway from Barefoot Landing. This beautiful complex has over 50 specialty shops, beach stores, live theater, and restaurants. You have a ringside seat from your condo balcony for the weekly fireworks shows over the Intracoastal Waterway.
The Alabama Theater offers nightly live shows, nothing short of Broadway. This family show has comedy, singing, dancing, and great costumes and sets.
The House of Blues has a great daily breakfast buffet ( in season) and nightly dinner specials, as well as live concerts throughout the year. The Sunday Gospel brunch has a more extensive offering of food as well as live music, which will have you tapping your foot while enjoying great southern cooking!
Alligator Adventure is an 11 acre park which features over 200 alligators and other wild life. Reptile shows and alligator feeding times are a favorite for all ages.
A little further south on US 17 is Broadway at the Beach. You will find over 150 shops, restaurants, and theaters to enjoy. Sing along with the dueling pianos at Crocodile Rock ( adults only please), and dance the night away at the many dance clubs at Celebrity Square.
All ages will enjoy Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks( upside down house) and hands-on science museum. There are kiddie rides as well as the Zip Line, Carousel Park, Magiquest, NASCAR Speed Park, Carmike Cinemas and much much more!
If golf is your mission, there are over 120 courses to choose from. Barefoot Resort has 4 championship courses, The Fazio, Dye, Norman, & Love. Caledonia & True Blue have been awarded multiple awards for the most beautiful courses in Myrtle. To the North in Cherry Grove is Tidewater, often referred to as the 'Pebble Beach of the East'.
Of course, mini golf can be found( on every corner !) along US 17 in the greater Myrtle Beach area.
