3 BR, 1.5 BA, Sleeps 10, 1 Mile from Indianhead/Black Jack! On Snowmobile Trail

2 story house, remodeled. 3 bedroom-3 queen size beds, 4 bunk beds and one pull out couch, fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD, VCR, ample parking for truck and trailers. 1 block off main snowmobile trail, 5 min to Indianhead or Blackjack Ski Resorts, 10 minutes to Powderhorn Ski Resort. Very clean, comfortable and accessible.

About Catherine Helwig

We have skied from this house for over 20 years and continue to have great adventures in the Upper Penninsula with our little children, family and friends. It is owned by 4 people/2 couples from the Madison area. Used both winter and summer. Our Ramsay Retreat is the perfect, affordable, get-a-way to relax, rejuvinate and be in nature!

We loved our stay at the Ramsay Retreat! First off it is so conveniently located for all our needs.
I like to cross country ski while my husband and children like their fast downhill skiing. The Ramsay Retreat was just a short drive for us all to have our fun and still meet for lunch. At night we could drive to town for pizza or shopping in the nearby towns without boring the kids with a long drive.
The little home was very clean when we arrived and had a stocked kitchen for baking and also condiments,spices and oils for simple cooking. At the end of a fun day outdoors we all slept soundly in the comfortable and warm beds.
We would recommend the Ramsay Retreat to all!!!

We loved staying in the U.P. again. Skiing was excellent at Indianhead.
House was clean, and it is nice to have all the kitchen supplies so we can cook our own meals.

Wonderful Quiet Place for a Getaway

Staying at the Ramsay Retreat is one of my favorite things to do whether it is summer or winter. It is always clean and well maintained. The owners are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay possible. It is an awesome place to take a break from everyday life, and provides you all the comforts from home. It is super close to the ski hill, my favorite is Indianhead :). There are also lots of other activities for those who don't ski or need a break. There are shops in nearby towns, beautiful places to hike/snowshoe and nearby Copper Peak to marvel at. It is beautiful and peaceful in the UP, with lots of different activities to do.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
