2 Bed, 2 Bath with Gameroom & Direct View of Pike's Peak

Bear's Paw Cabin backs up to a National Forest and sits on a heavily wooded lot approximately 5 miles outside the quaint town of Woodland Park. The cabin, built in 1998 and newly remodeled in January of 2013, is the perfect place to relax and forget the worries of the world. If you're looking for the rustic feel of Colorado, this is the place for you. With a cathedral wood ceiling with a wooden beam to the stacked stone fireplace, you'll enjoy the relaxing atmosphere you've anticipated when coming to the mountains. Sit in front of the fireplace and enjoy the everchanging, unobstructed view of Pike's Peak or sit on the upper deck and watch the Colorado wildlife pass through the forest.

We offer two bedrooms and two baths, one on each level.

The entry level has an open concept living/kitchen area, master bedroom and bath and access to the covered deck to enjoy the sunrise over the mountain and various wildlife sightings. The living area offers a leather sofa, recliner and glider with ottoman as well as a stacked stone fireplace with a flat screen tv over a log mantle. Those who opt to use the cook's fully equipped kitchen will enjoy stainless steel appliances and plenty of counterspace. The large bar offers seating for 6. The master bedroom is off the living area and has a king size log bed with a new temperpedic mattress, large closet and adjoining bath with a shower/tub combo.

The lower level, which offers access to the heavily wooded property, offers the second bed and bathroom, full size washer and dryer and the gameroom. The bedroom features a queen size log bed with a Harley Davidson theme. The bathroom is easily accessible from either the bedrooom or gameroom and offers a shower/tub combo. The gameroom offers an arcade-quality air hockey table, an electronic dart board, a 50' LED flat screen tv with a library of dvds, card games and books. The gameroom also includes a leather queen-sized sleeper sofa and matching recliner.

Other amenities include a two car garage with remote, a covered walkway from the garage to the front door, multiple outdoor seating areas, cable tv, wireless high speed internet access and local phone service. We also provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Woodland Park offers a hospital, Walmart and grocery stores for any of your personal needs.

Bear's Paw Cabin is available year round. Whether you want to enjoy all the Pike's Peak area has to offer or never leave the coziness of the cabin, we know you'll enjoy staying here as much as we do.

What a great place. Couldn't ask for anything more. The location is just secluded enough, and only just a few minutes from town if you need a few things. We felt right at home in this great cabin. Just what you would expect in a home away from home, plus extras. The view out the back porch of Pikes Peak was beautiful. The full counter bar in the kitchen was perfect for an early breakfast before heading out for the days events. After finishing the days events you couldn't wait to get back to this warm cozy cabin. I highly recommend this as a vacation spot in both the Summer and Winter. I highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone going to Colorado.
