LOFT-STYLE DUPLEX IN A 17TH CENTURY TOWN HOUSE

Je tenais à remerciier Alain pour son accueil et son côté très serviable et chaleureux.
L'accueil commence dès le parking, que nous avait conseillé Alain, et l'aide apporter pour décharger nos lourdes valises, il faut dire que nous sommes 5, 2 adultes et 3 enfants.
Autre satisfaction, les photos correspondent bien à la réalité, appartement très propre et spacieuse. A peine dans l'appartement, on se sent à l'aise, on n"a pas l'impression d'être l'un sur l'autre. Alain nous a rajouté un lit pliable en plus pour le 3ème enfant.
L'appartement est idéalement situé : à proximité, voir au pied de l'appartement : restaurants, boulangerie, marchés, market, boutiques.
Voilà, je tenais donc à remercier Alain et Christine pour notre séjour de 14 nuits au coeur du vieux Aix, et de ses environs, que mes enfants et nous même avons très appréciés.
Merci aussi de nous avoir fait parvenir les effets que nous avions oubliés dans l'appartement.

Alain and Christine were lovely and it was a huge help that they were willing to pick us up at the train station and then at the end of our week return us back to the train.

We loved Aix and being in the heart of it all. So many stores, restaurants and beautiful scenery to see right outside the front door of this flat. Our orginal plan was to rent a car but once we arrived our plans quickly changed. We went to the Tourism Center and booked two bus trips with Helen and she was an excellent tour. The bus held a maximum of eight people and the first trip went to Cassis / Marseille and the second trip went to the Luberon, Gourd etc - both days were great

We loved the markets with food, clothes, pottery etc.

The flat was perfect, very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. I totally recomend this and would return again !

We were collected by Alain at the airport and spent a nice journey chatting to him - he was really welcoming and accommodating, driving us right to the door of the property. After being shown around the apartment, he left us to our own devices and we didn't see him again until the morning of our return where he arrived promptly with Christine to take us back to the ariport. This was a lovely touch and took out all the hassle of arranging transport at the beginning and end of the holiday.

The apartment was perfect for what we needed - a cosy, simple place to stay where we could all hang out together (we had a girly reunion holiday after living in Aix together 20 years ago!). Everything was provided, from a welcome pack of bread, milk, etc to spare blankets and a hairdryer.

The apartment is beautifully located in the centre of the old town so perfect for wandering to the markets, etc. The only downside was that we were there for the French elections and as we were so close to the town hall where the announcment was made, we didn't get a lot of sleep that night due to the celebrations!

But apart from that, we would highly recommend this place, both for its prximity to everything, it's layout and the very friendly welcome from Alain and Christine. Thanks guys for helping to make our stay exactly what we wanted.
