Paradise valley mall is just across the street and features 4 major department stores (dillard's, macy's, sears, and jcpenny) plus over 100 specialty shops and a multiplex theater. You'll find more shopping with restaurants and plenty of well known retail stores surrounding the mall, such as target, costco and pier i imports just to name a few. There is also a transit bus stop (valley metro) in the mall parking lot, just across the street from the from the front gate of the condo. If you want to venture out to other malls... Kierland commons (4 miles), desert ridge marketplace (5 miles), scottsdale quarter (5 miles) and scottsdale fashion square (10 miles).
If you love to golf, there are several golf courses to choose from within a 10 mile radius from the complex. Stone creek (1 mile) and orange tree golf (3 miles) just to name a couple that are really close.
There are several grocery stores to choose from and most of them within walking distance... Fry's marketplace, safeway, albertsons, sprouts, trader joes, whole foods, and walmart.
There are several restaurants close by such as oreganos, chipotle mexican grill, tilted kilt, outback steakhouse, red lobster, 5&dinner, olive garden, chili's, in-n-out burger, and inside the mall is a food court with even more selections to choose from.
If you ride a harley or other motorcycle there are so many places to venture out for an enjoyable ride such as riding up to cave creek to hideaway and harolds. It's about a 25 minute ride from the complex. The harley dealership at scottsdale harley usually has an event going every weekend and bike week in april is a fun filled adventure.
If you enjoy coming to scottsdale for spring training the condo is centrally located to all 10 cactus league stadiums.
Hiking, biking, and horseback riding are all within a 10 to 20 minute drive from the complex. Camelback mountain, squaw peak, pinnacle peak, and black mountain just to name a few of the popular sites.
