MANHATTAN BEACH RENTAL COTTAGE, SAND SECTION W/ OCEAN VIEWS

Four of us stayed at this property for a week on a recent visit to CA. The property was absolutely lovely. Annette had everything you would ever need for a great stay. Annette met us at the property to show us around (and also left a yummy box of chocolates from Hawaii). She was so easy to work with and her response time was better than any other owner that I've worked with in the past (I've used VRBO for 12+ properties).

The town of Manhattan Beach is a great spot if you want to explore the LA area. It was an easy ride into Hollywood, Santa Monica, Dinsneyland, Universal, etc. We also made a small trip down to Laguna Beach (about 1 hour south). The center of town was a quick walk (about 10 minutes) where there is tons of shopping, restaurants, bars. The beach is down a steep hill (easy to walk down, not as fun walking back up) where we had the entire beach to ourselves with the exception of the many surfers sitting out in the water waiting for waves. The restaurants in MB were all very good. I'm a bit snobby when it comes to accomodations and I would recommend this property in a second to anyone who enjoys beach life in an exception property.
