Elia House benefits from its own private pool and lovely gardens including many fruit trees for your enjoyment. Leading from the living room and two principal bedrooms is a spacious veranda with stunning pool and mountain views, furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With two king, one twin and one single bedroom, the house is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. For the summer months Elia House has full air-conditioning and in the winter benefits from central heating and a wood fire.

The property is located on the outskirts of Finikaria village, just a few minutes walk from the village centre and its taverna with a children's playground. More general information on the village is available at: www.finikaria.org/en. Quiet and peaceful, yet no more than a fifteen minute scenic drive past the reservoir, to Limassol’s tourist area and beaches, the house has easy access to all amenities.

The village taverna, approximately 5 minutes walk (less than 1/2 km) from Elia house, provides cooked breakfasts, light meals, a full mezze on Friday evenings and curry evening on Tuesdays. It also has a pool table and children's playground.

Whilst the village does not have a grocery store, there is a bakery and a few small stores conveniently located on the road through Germasoyia village on the way to Finikaria.

The neighbouring village of Akrunta, at most a 10 minute drive, also has a taverna in the village square serving good food.

Local Activities: There are many amenities within 15 minutes drive of Elia House including the 5 screen cinema, a bowling alley, supermarkets, bakeries, Limassol’s tourist area with souvenir shops, restaurants, beaches, bars and night clubs. There are also many options a little further afield including alternative beaches and watersports. Limassol old town is approximately 20 minutes drive. Fasourri Waterpark, a 20 to 25 minute drive is a great family day out. Also close to the waterpark is an ice-skating rink in a small shopping mall. Within 25 minutes is a go-karting circuit and the Santa Marina Retreat, 20 minutes drive, offers horse-riding, archery, buggy rides and a climbing wall. There are also three golf courses within 30 - 40 mins drive. Fishing in the reservoir is permitted with a licence when declared open. At the house there is a guide to all these facilities, local amenities, other attractions, restaurants and take-aways, including directions, website links and phone numbers.

The Property: Elia House is in a quiet cul-de-sac with 9 other residential properties which are to the side and behind Elia House, although it has an almost secluded back garden with trees and shrubs. The house sits in approximately 1/3 of an acre and there are no other houses in front of the property giving a clear view of the mountains and privacy around the pool. There is no through road past the property so there are few cars.

AMAZING VILLA AND VIEWS!!

Just like to thank you very much for a wonderful stay at your villa. The attention to detail was faultless, the views and the pool were stunning and we had great use from the barbecue with the Souvla. We've been to Cyprus many times over the past 30 years due to family living in Limassol and I have to say your villa has brought a different dimension to our holiday this year. The kids didn't want to come home, neither did we come to that. Highly recommend it. We will definetly book again.

SUPERB VILLA

We had a fantastic family holiday staying at the villa. Beautiful house with fantastic facilities. The pool is superb as is the garden and BBQ area. Although it may be 40 degrees outdoors the house was always cool thanks to excellent air conditioning. We could not have hoped for a better holiday. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone going to Cyprus and can’t wait to return some day. Thanks Giselle.

WONDERFUL VILLA!!!!

we chose this villa as we'd stayed in in germasioya before and loved the dam and the views. and the pictures of ELIA HOUSE looked beautiful. when we arrived our expectations were blown away as the villa and its surroundings were not done justice in its pictures. everything you could want and need were provided in the villa and the depth of information giselle has gone to in the welcome book is amazing.
we had the most wonderful holiday and will definatly be booking again in the future.

We have had the perfect holiday here. It was a Wow Wow Wow place for us all from the first day. The facilities were even better than expected and the location is just superb with the finest scenery to enjoy. The helpful handbook provided so much useful information and was a must read and positively improved our stay. Being a family holiday, it catered for us all with a considerable array of entertainment besides the pool and table tennis.Wifi access proved a valuable asset.The owners have worked hard to provide a well maintained and well stocked home. We wanted for nothing both in the house and outdoor. We are frequent visitors to Cyprus and this has been our best experience anywhere.We believed at outset we were being over demanding on our wish list for this holiday.Dreams do come true.See for yourself.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

We (6 adults, one three-year old and one nine-month old baby) were impressed by this great place - perfect location, easily accessible from the airport Larnaca, great surrounding area, modern amenities, spacious rooms and garden - nothing that was missing, therefore, hardly anything you need to bring apart from your own clothing. Very suitable for anyone: with or without children. It is close to supermarkets and downtown Limassol but far away enough not to be distracted by loads of people and to enjoy nature on your doorstep.
The owners look after their property exceptionally well and everything is in a perfect condition and very well taken care of. The information you get beforehand about the property itself, the surrounding area and infrastructure and tourism highlights is very detailed and thoughtfully collected. Booking procedure is easy and reliable. Therefore, absolutely recommendable!

WHAT A WONDERFUL STAY

We had a wonderful week on Cyprus islands, but Elia House made it perfect. A fantastic house, best equipped and a paradisiacal garden. The kids (10y and 12y) and our teenager (18y) enjoyed very much the great pool with waterfall and the opportunities to play table-tennis and to jump on the trampoline.
Elia House is located in a small and quite village, but very close to Limassol. Best location to start sightseeing tours to a lot of interesting places (Koúrion, Pétra tou Romiou, Kolóssi, Páfos, Choirokitá, Léfkara .....).
Many thanks to the owners Giselle & Patrick for their perfect preparation as well for their references in advance before we started our holidays. This was a really good support, as this was our 1st stay on Cyprus island.
It's a great pity, that we have to leave Cyprus only after 1 week - it was definitely too short, but we will come back to Cyprus and of course to Elia House.
We can fully recommend this beautiful and lovely location.

Finikaria village is about 9km from Limassol sea front, a 15 minute scenic drive. It has a population of approximately 300 and dates back to medieval times. Today there is a church, library and taverna in the centre of the village.

The village and its surrounds are great for hiking, trail riding and nature lovers, with miles of trails, paths and unspoiled scenery. It is a wonderful place to relax and yet provides easy access to Troodos mountain and other popular mountain villages as well as to local historic sites of interest including Limassol and Kolossi castles and ancient Amathus and Kourion Amphitheatre.

A must do for families is the nearby Fasouri Watermania Waterpark, which in 2007 was awarded Europe’s Leading Waterpark Attraction by the World Travel Awards. There are many other family attractions nearby including a wide variety of beaches and water sports, horse riding, go-karting, paintballing and golf among many others.

Golf: Aphrodite Hills' 18-hole standard championship golf course follows the scenic contours of the two plateaus that are divided by a central ravine Its challenging fairways cutting a swathe through lakes, olive and carob trees. No wonder the course has taken its rightful place among the very best the Mediterranean can offer. A premier Golf Academy and Pro Shop enhance your golf experience, while the Clubhouse offers delectable specialities and a breathtaking view of the golf course. Two minutes from the main Limassol - Paphos highway. Limassol 50km.

Vikla Golf and Country Club - The Par 72 course is a 30 minute drive. Enjoy a good days golfing at a reasonable price, offering a challenge to the more experienced and ease to novices. A swimming pool and terrace are at the disposal of accompanying family and friends. Robin, the owner, will give you a free introductory lesson if it’s your first time. Special shoes, buggies, trolley’s and clubs are available for hire.

Santa Marina Retreat situated in Parekklisia Village, a 20 minute drive, offers an 18 hole golf course as well as a variety of sporting facilities. It also incorporates the largest private Stud Farm and racing stables in Cyprus with over 250 horses. Facilities include a club house, riding through unspoilt countryside, archery, climbing wall, and buggies for hire to explore the grounds or to play golf.

Ski: In January and February there is often, and occasionally on Christmas Day, snow in the Troodos mountains. There is a small ski resort with four runs ranging from beginner to intermediate. Skis, boots, poles and snowboards are available for rent. Full and half day lift passes are available. If you are renting equipment on a weekend, it is advisable to get there for 8.15am to beat the rush as the building is quite small. The lifts (3 drag, 1 chair) open at 9am and close at 4pm. There is a relatively good website and it is advisable to check the website to see which lifts are open and also whether the roads are open. Chains are sometimes required after a heavy snowfall unless you have four wheel drive. If skiing is not for you, there are also areas suitable for tobogganing, building snowmen or just having fun.
