A rare oasis reminiscent of the hidden beach towns sprinkled throughout the rustic Northeast coastline. BELA is nestled within a casual, chipper community overlooking an resort-ready, undiscovered beach on the Delaware Bay. Seclusion is easily abandoned by driving to any number of festive towns, award-wining vineyards, up-and-coming breweries or party-going beach towns; all 10-30 minutes away.

Great article about our beach:
BELA's multiple levels and various indoor and outdoor conversation areas make for an ideal vacation home, especially for groups. We have 3 bedrooms having full bathrooms (King, Queen, 2 twins which are often pushed together), 1 room with a daybed and the third floor has futons and a pull-out sofa.
The proximity to the beach can't be beat. Its only 50 feet away! It's so close you can easily keep tabs on everybody regardless if they are are lounging in the water, swimming, building sand castles, chasing crabs, fishing or sunbathing on the third floor.
The neighborhood is comfortably active; almost exclusively populated by families. The streets are residential and slow, except for beach goers transporting their boats/kayaks/boards and families.
In addition to the bay beach across the street, you have access to The Club at Diamond Beach, a members only beach club on the Atlantic Ocean, about 10 minutes away. One of the few spots in NJ to have drinks/dancing/sports/food directly on the beach.
We provide access to some bikes, kayaks, rafts and other assorted beach toys and gear.
There are a few restaurants within a short walk/bike ride and the more active Victorian Cape May area is a quick 10 minute drive/cab.
Resort experience without resort headaches
A rare oasis reminiscent of the sheltered, relaxed villages sprinkled throughout the rustic coastline of the Northeast.
Spend less time getting away and more time away with your friends and family.
Sleeping 8 across 3 full suites and 1 bedroom, BELA provides room for all to spread out and find individual areas to escape to and several indoor and outdoor conversation areas for creating new memories among friends and family.
Semi-private beach away from the restrictions of other life and beach-tag protected NJ beaches.
Quiet, serene area that maximizes vacation time
Amazing location that is convenient to dozens of night-time excursions.
1 mile away from Cape-Lewes ferry, ride our bikes, take your car or walk from the House and shuttle to Delaware's great beaches and beach restaurants (Rehoboth, Lewes, Dewey).

Hi Tyler! I just wanted to drop you an e-mail to tell you how much my family and I enjoyed staying at your rental home a couple of weeks ago. The house and view was beautiful and easily accessible to all the great restaurants...
Roomy and clean beach house! Awesome sunsets every night and close to everything! Highly recommend Bela
We were seven to stay at Bela for a week: four adults, two young children and one baby. We enjoyed our best family vacation ever!
The villa is beautiful, very spacious, allowing everybody to have a certain privacy. Even when it was raining, the house was big and nice enough to allow us to keep enjoying our vacations. There is a nice touch of luxury, especially at the third floor where we were able to enjoy the extraordinary view of the beach. Being at only a few meters of the water is also something definitively priceless. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed to enjoy the beach (sun umbrellas, toys for kids...).
The place is at a short drive of most attraction, including the city of Cape May. All service were easily accessible by car or bicycle.
The beach is, according to me, much more beautiful than most commercial beaches like the ones in Cape May or Wildwood. It is smaller, but more «natural» and never crowded. A big advantage for families with young children: no big waves in the water, so much safer.
We did a lot a research in the area to find the ideal cottage... Some other cottages with a similar size were available in Cape May and were a little less expensive... However, the additionnal 300$ we payed for Bela was definitely worth it. Our vacations would not have been the same elsewhere!
My family had such a wonderful time, and so many precious memories! The house is beautiful, and so close to the beach. It was perfect for the 15 month old and 4 yr old, who could easily go back and forth to the house and beach. Our 76 year old aunt loved being able to easily walk to the beach, and return to the house to sit outside in the backyard. All of us loved the roof deck, where we would watch the magnificent sunset, and isten to classical music and sip wine, pure heaven!
The home is pleasing, wonderfully equipped, and so spacious that all of us could find our own little niches when needed. We will definitely return, and hopefully year after year!
Our family traveled from 3 countries to spend a week at BELA celebrating a 70th birthday! The listing does not do BELA justice, as we were all pleasantly surprised at the generous open plan accommodations and amenities (full laundry facilities, Keurig coffee maker, house-wide speakers with iPod control, lovely gardens, multiple outdoor seating areas, large refrigerator and pantry, etc.). The outdoor shower was helpful, and well-used to complement only having 2 showers in the house. The house is decorated tastefully throughout. Communication with the owners was excellent from Day 1 of our planning. They responded quickly to an email informing them of a broken awning upon our arrival. Although disappointed to do without, we understood this was not the owners' fault. The kayaks, bikes and shuffleboard certainly were a highlight for all residents! We Spent the majority of our week right on the almost-private beach mere steps from the door, but did venture into Cape May for yummy dinners at The Blue Pig and Lucky Bones Backwater Grill (both excellent), as well as a carriage ride and a bit of shopping! We would definitely recommend BELA to anyone seeking a beautiful week in Cape May!
We had a multi-family vacation at the house and were completely satisfied. Being away from the crowds and busy streets allowed us to spend more time with each other and the beach. Being across the street from the Beach made it easy for us to watch over everyone while prepping meals and doing non-beach things like croquet, grilling and reading. The private beach is wonderful for drinking and chilling without too many rules.
I arrived at BELA with my husband and two small children over the holiday break for a little getaway. From the minute I pulled in the driveway, I felt at home. The house is spacious, clean, and family friendly. Everything you could possible need is there! The unobstructed, panaoramic view is better than anything I could have imagined. The first floor open floor plan is perfect for families to gather at the end of a beautiful beach day for happy hour and family dinners! The upstairs outdoor patio is the perfect spot to catch a sunset.
I can't wait to go back in the summer, the benefits of being so close to the beach is priceless for people with small children!
