Cook your own meals, and sit out on the porch to enjoy them, watching the sun set over the mountains. The full bathroom features a handicapped accessible walk-in shower and bars and a stackable washer and dryer for longer stays.

Outside the front door are views of the mountains, the pond complete with a cantilevered pier and canoe or kayak, views of the gardens and mountains and a small natural waterfall right outside the bedroom window. This is the place to go for the ultimate retreat from the world of hustle and bustle. Here you can sit back and relax, turn off your computer and phone if you choose and unplug into a natural setting that will leave you feeling as rejuvenated and fresh as the delicious mountain spring water you'll drink from the tap.

A stay at the loft might include an afternoon spent on the property hiking trails right outside your front door, taking a dip in the spring-fed pond, walking on the swinging bridge, and enjoying the gardens that look out over beautiful mountain views or participating in a retreat at Harvest Moon Gardens. We regularly host retreats in leadership, women's empowerment, gardening, meditation and yoga, and have guest speakers coming in for additional retreats.

The surrounding area is rich in outdoor activities including skiing and snow tubing in the winter, a visit to nearby Cherokee or Harrah's casino, water sports in the summer and more. The Loft is located just two miles from Hwy 441, the main highway from Atlanta to the Cherokee, Dillsboro's tourist and craft venues, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and the entrance to the Great Smokies National Park. Traveling to these fun destinations takes between 15 and 40 minutes.
