My wife, Peggy, and I have been married for over 30 years and have enjoyed renovating many properties over our lifetime. I am a middle school math teacher.
We live a little over an hour north of St. Augustine in St. Marys, GA and have always loved the St. Augustine area. We hope to retire to this unit at some point in the future and have renovated it in a quality and decor that make it comfortable and homey.
We have a son at Georgia Tech majoring in Areonautical Engineering and a daughter who is a senior at Camden County High School and is hoping to attend the University of Georgia.
We hope you will visit us in the near future and pass on information about our unit to your family and friends. We are confident you will enjoy your stay.
Charles and Peggy Trader purchased this condo in 2012
Ocean Villa is located directly on the beach and Unit #14 is steps (25 yards) from the heated pool and access to the beach. The unit has a large patio that overlooks the beautiful views and well maintained grounds. It is a first floor unit and parking is very convienent to the unit. It has a wonderful rental history before the renovation as it is a preferred location in the condo development.
Tell your friends from faraway to put a visit to St. Augustine on their bucket list, because National Geographic Traveler magazine editors announced that the city is one of the 20 “must-see places” in the world for 2013.
Between 20 and 30 judges whittled around 200 places in the world down to 20 for the Best of The World 2013 list, said Keith Bellows, editor in chief of National Geographic Traveler.
“We look for something that sort of hits us in the gut,” Bellows said.
Judges were not looking for anything mainstream or just the “next hot destination.” Rather, they were looking for places that would appeal to travelers looking for authenticity and culture, he said.
St. Augustine was included for its “sense of character, sense of place, an understanding that the things that make it special are worth preserving.”
While St. Augustine has its touristy places, it has done well preserving “its essential character,” Bellows said.
“There’s also some sort of real off-the-main-street kind of expressions of where it came from,” such as the fort, he said.

The article also recommends places to go, eat and stay in St. Augustine, including The St. Francis Inn, The Floridian restaurant and the Mill Top Tavern.
St. Augustine should be on everyone's bucket list because National Geographic Traveler magazine editors announced that the city is one of the 20 “must-see places” in the world for 2013. Just a few miles south of St. Augustine, the beautiful little town of St. Augustine beach and Anastasia Island boasts 43 pristine miles of beaches. There's the right type of beach for everyone: some permit vehicles and dogs while others allow only pedestrians. Some of the area beaches produce abundant shelling opportunities, while others are covered only in luxurious fine, golden sand. From single vantage points in town, you can experience both the joy of the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean horizon and the peacefulness of the sun setting beyond the salt marsh along the intracoastal waterway.
