Seabrook is a place where you can have year-round fun! Numerous parks and gathering places in Seabrook establish it as a wonderful, welcoming place to visit! ****** The south end of Cresent Park features a beautiful indoor swimming pool plus jacuzzi and at the north end is an area to play shuffelboard and horseshoes. In between is a large grass field which is outfitted with a badminton and volleyball net and a soccer net during the summer. There are 2 big community firepits. ****** Bike riding is always fun and Seabrook has bikes for rent. ****** Town merchants include Lil's Pantry with food and deli items, Mill 109 a restaurant and pub, Blind Dog Books with a good selection for beach reading, Colours, a pottery painting studio and The Blue Spa, which has an ocean-view massage studio. ****** There are some lovely walking/hiking trails in the forrest surrounding Seabrook. ****** Close to Anchors Away is Alder Park with its lawn and firepit where you can meet neighbors and enjoy s'mores. A children's park is outside the back gate of this home. Also, just a short distance away is a basketball court. ****** Of course, the thing that makes Seabrook special is the stunning stretch of ocean which is accessible (within walking distance) from all homes. The awesome beach is an easy walk from Anchors Away. You will love going there to fly kites, build sandcastles, beachcomb, dig for clams or go for long walks. The beach is a great place to just sit back and listen. We never get tired of the sound of surf. ****** Seabrook is within easy driving distance from the spectacular Olympic National Park. While there, you can hike in pristine wilderness including the gorgeous rain forrest, and have lunch in the historic lodge on Lake Quinalt. ****** Seabrook is 20 miles away from Ocean Shores where there is shopping, bowling, a cinema and a casino.
