Our family fell in love with Seabrook the first time we visited! The spectacular setting by the Pacific Ocean and the charming town with fun activities seemed so inviting. We, Suzanne (Gaga) and Denny (Gabby) and our daughter and son-in-law, decided to build our dream vacation home so we could make beach memories for ourselves and our adorable grandkids! We enjoy inviting family and friends on 'retreats' to this friendly community.
As active outdoorsy people, who have hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington and completed the Seattle to Portland Bike Ride, we wanted an area that gives us lots of options for activities and ways to truely enjoy nature. With all its amenities, Seabrook gives us a place where we can have year-round fun!
Seabrook is in a wonderful location surrounded by a lovely forest on 3 sides and to the west, it looks out to the Pacific Ocean. It is close to the Olympic National Park. On the same day we can be hiking in the rugged Olympic Mountains and strolling down the beach! The setting is stunning and the town is such a delightful community we decided to buy property here.
We selected this site in Seabrook as it is close to all the town's amenities and an easy walk to the beautiful beach. It is special as we have greenbelt on two sides, which gives us a feeling of privacy. We are also adjacent to a children's playground. Our goal for guests and ourselves was to create a cozy and comfortable home. Inside and outside we wanted to offer ways for people of all ages to enjoy themselves. Anchors Away is our home away from home and we feel both eager to get there and relaxed once we have arrived. We hope you do too!
