Located in Sterling, Alaska, Salty Dog Cabins is the ideal location for the fishing enthusiast or simply a family retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Access to the Kenai River is less than a 5-minute walk away. The Kenai River is world famous for record size King Salmon, and heavy runs of Sockeye and Silver Salmon. The Russian River, which draws fishing diehards from around the world, is less than a 30-minute car ride away. The world capital for halibut fishing (Homer, Alaska) is less than an hour and half away. For those who are even more adventurous, fly-in fishing and bear viewing trips take off from lakes that are located less than 15 minutes away. Salty Dog Cabins can arrange guided fishing trips or we can point you in the right direction so you can enjoy fishing on your own.

Summer Cabin Rentals

Salty Dog Cabins provides you with a choice of two cabins. The Main Lodge has one bedroom, a loft, one bath and accommodates 4 to 7 guests. The Rooftop Cabin has one bedroom and one bath and accommodates 4 to 5 guests. Both have full kitchens, flat screen TVs, laundry facilities and are fully stocked for all of your needs. The barbecue area is the perfect place to grill up the catch of the day or steaks while enjoying a refreshing drink and sharing the days adventures with family and friends. The fire pit is ideal for roasting up marshmallows for dessert.

Salty Dog Cabins, based in Sterling, Alaska, offers fantastically affordable cabin rentals near some of the best Alaskan salmon fishing spots. Both cabins are within walking distance of the Kenai River, and are fully stocked for all your needs.

Main Lodge

The Main Lodge measures approximately 1000 square feet and offers one main bedroom (with a queen bed and sofa with a twin pull out sleeper), a large loft with two twin beds, one bathroom with dual sinks and a tile shower, a full kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, and a living room (with a queen pull out sleeper, a sofa and a flat screen TV). The washer and dryer are right next door in the two car garage. The Main Lodge can comfortably sleep between 4 to 7 guests.

Rooftop Cabin

Our Rooftop Cabin is slightly smaller than the Main Lodge and offers one bedroom (with two queen beds), one bathroom, washer and dryer in the cabin, full kitchen with microwave, and a living room (with a flat screen TV and two sofas--one with a twin pull out sleeper). The Rooftop Cabin can comfortably sleep between 4 and 5 guests. You are right next door to the the Main Lodge and a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Kenai River.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
First payment is due to confirm reservations, including one half of Total Rent, Security Deposit ($300) and Cleaning Charge ($125).
Second payment is due ninety (90) days prior to arrival (if reservations are made less than ninety days prior to arrival the full amount will be charged, including Security Deposit and Cleaning Charge).
