Welcome to the organic farm in the sports world of Salzburg. Our farm is situated at the ski and toboggan descent of the Hahnbaum lift. In 6Km (4 miles) you will find yourself in the Amade-ski world. Look forward to new lifts, tickets and package deals. Experience an unparalleled sense of 'feeling it live' in five regions over 860km with 270 lifts. Enjoy a real sense of well-being that only 'ski Amade' can offer you. There is a choice between an array of pistes from WorldCup to family tested, up-to-date ascent aides and snow cannons, incredibly cosy ski chalets and marque-bars, child-friendly ski schools and ski kindergardens (ski instructors come to you). It is a paradise for cross- country skiers with around 150km of cross-country ski courses (access is 1/2 km from us). An important toboggan course leads into the town. The town centre also has the following to offer: tennis and squash court (indoor), fitness centre, an ice rink, cafes, restaurants, bars and discos and lots more.

Winter!: Around 3km from the town centre of Saint Johann, situated 800m high at the foot of the Gernkogel mountain (1787m). Alpendorf is not only known amongst experts as the first access point into the 'Salzburg sports world', or 'ski Amande'. The most modern of cabin and chairlifts allow you to access Austria's largest skiing area directly from Alpendorf (1 ski pass for over 270 lifts and 860 maintained piste kilometres). Hallo,

wir waren in 02/09 mit 9 Erwachsenen u. 7 Kindern (1-7 Jahre) auf dem Oberbichlhof und waren begeistert. Für uns 4 Familien gab es genügend Platz zum gemütlichen Beisammensein.Gekocht wurde in der großen Küche für alle. Es gab aber für jede Familie auch seperate Kochmöglichkeiten. Alles war sauber, die Vermieter freundlich, Brötchen und Milchservice super. Die Kinder liebten den Kuhstall und sogar Traktor durften sie fahren. Viel Spaß hatten wir auch auf der nahe gelegenen Rodelpiste.
Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir haben vom 10. bis zum 17. Jan. auf dem Bio-Bauernhof Urlaub gemacht. Wir ,das waren 5 Erwachsene und 5 Jungens von 1 bis 6 Jahren.
Der Wohnungsmittelpunkt war die sehr gut eingerichtete große Küche. Frische Milch und Eier gab es direkt vom Bio-Bauernhof: Hier war auch die "Mithilfe" der größeren Kinder sehr gerne gesehen. Diese fanden das großartig.
Die frischen Brötchen-wurden am Vorabend bestellt- standen jeden morgen früh vor der Türe.
Die Atmosphäre im Hause war familiär und sehr angenehm.
Das wird nicht unser letzter Urlaub dort gewesen sein und nicht nur für den Winter.
Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung der Zimmer (Abtrockentücher, Handtücher, Backpaiert etc.) hervorrangend.

Auf zum Oberbichlhof zu den H.!

Hallo,
ich war mit meiner Familie und drei weiteren Familien bei H.s auf dem Oberbichlhof. Die Angaben im Internet waren sehr korrekt, sind aber noch erweiterbar. So gibt es bspw. einen herrlichen Blick ins Tal und auf einen Teil der Skipiste, die nur von den Einheimischen benutzt wird (obschon für alle offen). Dieser ist auch zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Ferienwohnung ist ein riesiger Küchen-Eß-und-Wohnzimmerraum, in dem unsere 8 Erwachsenen und 4 Kinder gut Platz hatten. Sehr gemütlich. Der Balkon, welcher rum ums Haus geht, lädt zum "Panoramieren" oder "Sonnenbaden" ein. Trotz des grossen Raumes können sich alle Familien problemlos separieren und für sich sein. Die H.s kümmern sich in jeglicher Hinsicht um die Gäste: Sie bewirten mit einem selbstgemachten Obstler, erklären Geschichte, Hintergründe und Wissenswertes über die Tiere des Bauernhofes, St. Johann und den hiesigen Traditionen und haben stets Zeit für ein kleines Schwätzchen. Selbst Brötchen werden morgens auf Wunsch bestellt und bereitgestellt (gegen Bezahlung). Die eigentliche Abgeschiedenheit auf dem Berg umgeben von Natur einerseits und die Nähe zu St. Johann zum Flanieren oder Einkaufen ist ein weiteres Plus des Standorts Oberbichlhof. Also: Auf zu den H.s zum Oberbichlhof.
