Photos and Description of the Dunsmuir vacation house rental
4 Bedroom 2 Bath with Mountain/River Views.

Full size kitchen, Microwave, Full Stove and Range, Refrigerator, Dishes,flatware, crock-pot,toaster,pots pans ,coffee maker,tea kettle. We will have all you need to serve a Thanksgiving, Christmas or any holiday meal.

There are 4 bedrooms. Two bedrooms with a queen bed in each on the main floor and down stairs there is a bedroom with two twin beds and another room with a twin over full bunk that can sleep 3. There is also a pull out queen sofa bed down stairs in the entertainment/family room. Two bathrooms. one upstairs with a claw-foot bath tub that is original to this 1920's house. There is a bathroom with tub and shower downstairs as well.

You will be able to enjoy a flat screen TV with Cable channels in the game room/basement as well as the master bedroom. There is also wireless high speed internet. There is no phone but there is cell phone reception. There is a wood stove in the basement that pushes the warm air to the top floor for a nice toasty house on those cold Fall and Winter mornings. There is also electric heating for convenience and a cooler.

The house has two stories. There is a side ground door for ease of entry and an awesome front porch. With fantastic views of the mountains. river and trees. You will be able to enjoy a large wrap around over-sized redwood deck to enjoy your view of the river and high mountains and pine trees or star gaze. Great for entertaining.There is plenty of storage for kayaks,skis or any sport equipment you have under the deck.

It stays nice and cool in Dunsmuir but if you need a bit of cooling off we do have a cooler in the house.

About Cave Springs Resort

We love the Dunsmuir area. We have been visiting the area on day trips for years. We have two dogs and a cat. We grew up in Redding and San Francisco respectively.

Why Cave Springs Resort chose Dunsmuir

We have been coming to the area for years with our dogs and friends and family. We decided we wanted to open a vacation home for our enjoyment and for others to enjoy as well. We saw this gem of a house and just knew it was the right one. We enjoy the mountains and the river and it is so close to everything in the town that it fit our needs just right.

What makes this house unique

We really enjoy the views from the Master bedroom and decking. The mountains and river are gorgeous. The fall colors are lovely to look at from the front porch. Another favorite of the house is the clawfoot bath and basement TV room. Very cozy.
