3+ Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, Open style floor plan with stunning views of the Lake

Home has air conditioning, private deck with umbrella, DSL with wireless connectivity, Full kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher) washer/dryer, 180* of Windows facing the lake, cement driveway with a large area to park a boat. Bedrooms are large with the Master having a kingsize memory foam mattress. The second bedroom has a full and a twin bed. The 3rd bedroom has a full bed (and a library with over 50 books), with a bonus room sporting a twin trundle bed, and a piano! 1 mile from downtown Suttons Bay and Bike trail, 15 minutes from Traverse City, 8 minutes to Leelanau Sands Casino.
About Patty Simpson

This property has always been family owned. This has also been our favorite spot for summer vacations, homey Thanksgivings, beautiful snowy Christmases, snowmobiling. My kids learned how to swim here with the gradually sloping sandy shore. We've spent hours building sand castles and telling stories around the campfire, with the waves lapping nearby. We hope our renters will enjoy the simple pleasures here as we have.

This property is located on the desirable southern (naturally sugar sand) shore of the Bay. It has a wonderful open floor plan with 2 walls filled with huge 10 foot windows that look out at the bay. The home has a vaulted ceiling, and a new kitchen. Only $2200 per week (Sat-Sat) Memorial Day through Labor Day.

What makes this house unique

The Beach access is easy with only 4 steps down to the sand, with a gentle slope down to shallow water that is so crystal clear, that you can still see your toes in the sandy bottom from chest deep water. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking, as is the setting at night with the stars crystal clear overhead as you sit around a campfire.

Notes:
Wonderful vacation get-a-way. Spend time just sitting on the beach or walking along the bay. Bring a bike to explore more of the area. There are many winery's just waiting to be discovered, with-in a 10 minute drive. Northport, Leeland, Lake Leelanau, Glen Arbor (where the Sleeping Bear Dunes National lakeshore is located) are all very close. Activities like canoeing, boating, tennis, and fishing are all easily accessed. Check in is at 4 pm, Check out is at 11 am.
