Near Perfect!

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property during the Presidential Inauguration. Our group included eight adults total; but, we were mostly just four for the majority of the stay, as the remainder of our group were present for just the last two days.
The house is top-notch: beautiful open kitchen on the main floor, with a very nifty galley kitchen on the lower level; a stunning master with a gorgeous bath and shower. The house is expertly decorated and convenient to Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, and, of course, Georgetown. The staff and owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. Communication was great and they went out of the way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
I believe we were the very first vacation renters after a fast turnaround to get the house ready. Some of the minor incomplete items and oversights are the only reason I can't give a perfect score. However, I suspect the will iron these out in no time, if they haven't already.
For us those issues were, no cable in the kitchen, which was a central gathering point, but this did not spoil our fun. We had an issue with a second floor bathroom, which couldn't get resolved during our stay, but again we did our best to work around it. The door on the lower level which separates the family room area from the bedroom didn't work. Lastly, one of the bedrooms on the second floor didn't have a door, which created some privacy issues when some members of the group went to bed earlier than others.
Overall this is a fabulous property managed by wonderful people. They'll get those kinks worked out and even if they don't, our group would gladly stay here again.
If you choose to stay here and are planning to take metro, be prepared to do a little walking, about 10 to 15 minutes to reach Dupont Circle Metro and a little more to reach the Foggy Bottom station.
