Charming beach house made for a perfect vacation!

I stayed here with my husband for three nights and everything was exactly what we hoped it would be. Number one on our list was that it was close to the beach, we walked down to the water in less than five minutes. The beach was nice and quiet (of course it being March may have something to do with that) and easily accessible through a park that overlooks the ocean. The house is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and has everything you could possible need (especially lots of beach and bath towels, and spa robes!). Also, it is very conveniently located near Santa Barbara, about a 10-15 minute drive depending on where you're going. I would recommend the mission, the botanic gardens, the courthouse and of course, state street. Within Summerland itself we most enjoyed the Summerland beach cafe. The only small drawback to this house is it is near the freeway and is a bit noisy when you are outside on the deck or patio. However, this did not detract from our stay whatsoever, if we were outside we wanted to be right on the beach! Also, the manager was very up front about it when I asked her prior to our stay and in general was very accommodating and helpful. An excellent vacation house, we had a very peaceful and relaxing stay and I would love to come back in the future.
