As you walk in our beautiful condo and view the luxurious interior and the fabulous ocean view, you know that you've reached your ultimate vacation destination. There is truly no reason to leave as you sit on the lanai, sipping your coffee or drinks and view the surfers out front, the turtles below and the whales and dolphins beyond.

Despite the relaxation and solitude, if you want sightseeing, shopping or adventure, you still have access to all that Big Island offers. Visit the volcano, stroll old town Kailua-Kona, take a parasail ride, go hiking or mountain biking, snorkeling and/or scuba, the opportunities are endless. We are centrally located and close to beautiful beaches and snorkeling areas.

Our oceanfront and beautifully remodeled condominium has everything you are looking for! Treat yourself to an oceanfront pool, master bedroom suite and lanai. Our home is gorgeously decorated with comfortable, wood laminate floors, large granite kitchen counters, and two bathrooms with travertine and tile walk in showers.

There is a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, and a convertible sofa that comfortably sleeps two. Ceiling fans in all rooms and a full size washer and dryer are also included.

There is also WiFi access for your laptop/tablet/phone, a flat screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD player with Pandora, Hulu, Netflix and 70+ high definition cable channels.

We spent 8 nights in this lovely condo. There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teens age 14 and 16. The unit is modern, tastefully decorated and very well equipped with towels, sheets, kitchen needs and even beach toys. The unit was very clean and the building and grounds were also well kept. We loved breakfast on the lanai overlooking the ocean, and we enjoyed watching the surfers and looking for distant dolphins. The condo is a short drive to downtown Kona, with plenty of options for dining and shopping. We highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for an oceanfront location in Kona.

A week in Paradise

Just returned from a wonderful week at a perfect location.Our unit was on the 4th floor of a 4 story building. There are approximately 18 units total. Our condo was over the pool area but noise was not a problem at all. The lanai stretches the entire width of the unit with two sets of sliders which we kept open the entire time so we could enjoy the sound of the waves and be lulled to sleep every night. We enjoyed having coffee every morning there and watching the early morning surfers directly in front of the condo. Whale watching also is enjoyable, so bring your binoculars. There is a grocery store and a farmers market quite close and a small convenience store across the street . With two well kept and clean BBQs at our disposal we chose to dine in and have evening cocktails and dinner on the lanai while watching the sunset. Perfect. Our unit was lovely and well decorated with an island theme and had everything we could ask for to make our visit comfortable. Really enjoyed having a full size washer and dryer in the unit so excessive packing was not necessary. A carry one would suffice. We have been to the Big Island several times and would not stay anywhere else. We were close to the village and the harbor for water activities, yet far enough away for the peaceful atmosphere of a small condominium. Bob was quite easy to work with and made sure we had all the information we needed in case of any problems. (We had none). If you have been to the Kailua Kona area and have not stayed here, you have missed out! Thanks, Bob, for sharing your beautiful waterfront condo with us. We shall return.

Spacious, well maintained condo that provides entertainment as well: the surfers.

The owner made every effort to ensure comfort and convenience from the rows of books and WiFi to the well stocked kitchen and linen closet. Even beach equipment and toys were available for use. We felt as if a good friend had allowed us to use their home.

The layout of the unit allows privacy whether on the lanai or at the kitchen counter. The only thing one sees is the long expanse of ocean and the surfers. The sound of the surf blocks out extraneous noise of traffic or voices so one does feel away from it all.

The apartment is situated along a popular beach side road where many people walk, run or cycle. It's about 2 1/5 miles into town where we purchased most of our food. The Costco store is located closer to the airport about 10 miles away where we bought some very fresh Hawaiian fish which we cooked on the BBQ, also provided in the complex.

There is a smallish swimming pool and a hot tub. Both are kept meticulously clean. The shoreline in front is rocky. Next door is a small public beach/park where surfers enter the waves. Further south down the road about a mile is the popular White Sands Beach with easy access to the water and a great place to lounge on the beach.

Multiple fans and good air flow with the doors open kept the place cool during the day if we were there, but nights were warm. We had the advantage of being able to move into the cooler second bedroom if needed.

As Canadians, VRBO charged an additional 3% to conclude the agreement unless we had access to a US bank account, which we did not. This would be a factor in determining whether we would return to this condo. That being said, the condo itself, was lovely.

Lovely view, unit, and location. Clean and well maintained. Lanai is narrow, but the table and chairs work. There is no air conditioning so when the trade winds stop and it is sunset it can get warm. So we went to the pool which is right on the ocean to have our sunset cocktails and cool off. Not a bad trade off! We give this a definite thumbs up and hope to return soon.

Beautiful, Comfortable condo with a perfect view.

This place is beautiful on the inside. It has a nice kitchen filled with all of your cooking needs. One of the bedrooms is right next to the balcony and we would listen to the waves serenade us to sleep. The balcony has the perfect view of the ocean. We ate dinner out there while watching the most gorgeous sunsets. The pool was under construction while we were there so we were given a discount. We did have access to use the pool of the complex next door, however, we never took advantage of it. Swimming in the ocean was enough for us. Where the condo is located is very quiet. We almost felt secluded except for watching a few surfers. But it is a short distance to the downtown Kona area. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we went back. Thank you!
