Welcome to our house in the mountains! This is our vacation home, so we treat it with care. We like to believe that because of that, you’ll find it nicer than the rental-only houses available.
Just a short walk through a short path through the trees, and you’re on the beach! Besides the gorgeous lake, the beach has a playground, picnic tables, and bbqs for everyone’s use.
The 2000 square foot house is clean and modern with a nice décor, and features pool table. There are four bedrooms, three with a queen bed, and one with sperate bunk beds and two full bathrooms (both with a shower/tub. Master bedroon upstairs has flat screen tv, other bedroom next door has tv, bedroom downstairs small tv with play station for children and lots of games. We have a large, sunny great room with an 6-person dining table and living room with a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with range, microwave, pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker, utensils and more. Sliding doors from the living room lead onto a large uncovered deck as well as inside screened porch with pool table.
The home is equipped with wi-fi service.

The house is located in the gorgeous community of Locust Lake Village. This community includes 5 lakes, 3 with white sandy beaches and lifeguards throughout the summer. There is a snack bar, playground, and picnic area at each lake. The community has activities and classes planned throughout the year. Other recreational facilities in the community include: A baseball field, a basketball court, shuffleboard, bocci ball, and even its own skiing hill and ice skating. Also, Locust Lake was rated 'Best in the Country Trout Fishing' by Pennsylvania Game and Fish. The Village is surrounded by 21,000 acres of Brady’s State Gamelands—you’re truly in the woods!
Locust Lake is a perfect location to all activities and attractions, all year round. This property is conveniently 10 minutes away from Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resort, which has tubing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding. Split Rock, a 10 minute drive, is a resort with the H2ooooooh water park, mini golf, a movie theater, and more. Camelback Ski/Water Park, horseback riding, paintball, whitewater rafting, golfing are all within 10-20 minutes away, in the Lehigh River Gorge and Hickory Run State Park. The 100-store Tannersville Outlets are also only a 20 minute drive. NASCAR Pocono Raceway and the Mount Airy Casino are also only minutes away! For a longer day out, head over to the historic and quaint town of Jim Thorpe, or even to Philadelphia, Sesame Place, or Hershey Park.
This village is adjacent to a main highway, Route 940, only 5 miles from Routes 80 and 280. It is close to a shopping center containing an excellent grocery store. There are numerous dine-in and take-out restaurants nearby. A short drive down Rt 940 takes you to a shopping center which includes a Wal-Mart and a Lowe’s.

Our house is directly on the public beach of the largest lake in our community. You literally walk out of the house, through a short path through the trees, and you’re on the beach! Besides the gorgeous lake, the beach has a playground, picnic tables, and bbqs for everyone’s use.
The home is conveniently central to all Pocono Mountain resort area Attractions. These include Camelback Ski Mountain, Camelback Play Park, The Crossings Outlet Center, Pocono’s NASCAR Raceway, Memory town, Tobyhanna State Park, and Pocono’s Brewing Company. A
Short drive will take you to either Lake Wallenpaupak for motorboat Rentals, water skiing, tubing, Jet Ski rentals, sailing, and fishing
Or to Jack Frost/Big Boulder for skiing and Jim Thorpe for the areas Best white water rafting or the quaint historical village for Antiquing!
