Cozy Island Getaway

This is a wonderfully nice cottage located on the south end of Lubbers Quarters. The dock is very large and in excellent condition, and the cottage itself is a short walk away up a path that is mostly paved with concrete. The large, well-furnished covered patio deck is where we spent most of our time. The cottage is clean and well-appointed, with a kitchen that is well-equipped with cookware, utensils, and new appliances. The bedrooms are small, and the bed in each is set against two walls, which can be an inconvenience if a couple is sharing a room, but there is plenty of closet space. The fish market is a short walk down the road, so there is always something easily available to cook on the grill.
The owner is very accommodating and rental arrangements were easy to make and revise. We have stayed at several properties on Lubber's Quarters, and will definitely return to this one.
