Stayed at the home of the Ritch’s this year while visiting Grand Cayman. The experience was wonderful. Close to restaurants, shopping areas and beaches.
The home itself was indeed very comfortable and inviting. The porch and back garden were my favorites especially in the early morning.
Would recommend it highly for a great vacation destination.
We wanted to thank you for sharing your wonderful home with our family during Easter week. We had a fantastic time! We celebrated 3 birthdays during our stay. The house was perfect for all of us. We enjoyed the big rooms, multiple beds, big TVs, great appliances in the kitchen and laundry, plus the coconuts were delicious. The home was so convenient to everything on the island, including shopping, diving, dinning, and of course the beaches. We will be talking about this vacation for many years to come.
Thanks for the memories!
All the best,

We were in Grand Cayman for business - and rented Nicole's house. The house is beautiful and spacious, well suited for the four (4) of us and our needs for privacy and independence; also the house is well appointed and comes with what seemed like every-little-anything we could think of wanting / very well equipped and the location is one of the best as well - the house is located in the west bay area on the main road near the regional Foster's and in walking distance (less than 800 feet) from 7 mile beach, the bank (Cayman National), a local phone and data carrier (LIME), a few very good beach side restaurants and a subway (if you care to know), the Lighthouse is a short drive away (I walked it) where there is one of the best vegan/organic dinners that shares a majestic ocean front lookout with one of the better on-island dive-shops - great for breakfast and lunch especially on weekends. All the other high-end dinning opportunities are a very short drive from this house which makes it very convenient if you plan to dine out most evenings. The house was impeccable except for the doors to the washer and dryer units - these where broken and dangling loosely - seemed as if previous tenant-guest may have damaged them since everything else was absolutely perfect and in perfect working order - gardens are well kept, however they seemed recently done (incomplete) when we stayed. One minor glitch during our stay occurred / power was turned-off at the house due to a issue with CUC (local electric Co.) - Nicole handled it promptly and power was restored within hours… and this brings me to the most important part of my review --- Nicole is a excellence host and will take care of whatever concern or need you may have elegantly and do so promptly. Thanks Nicole - we enjoyed our stay very much. This is for sure the best most authentic cayman experience one could expect in the west bay area on Grand Cayman. Thanks Again.
We were in Grand Cayman for my son's wedding. Many of the wedding party were at the Sunshine Suites, but we decided to rent Nicole's house with family and friends as a central meeting area since some of the festivities were at the Wharf downtown and some were at Cracked Conch in West Bay......and there were so many good reviews of this home we just went ahead and reserved. We were not disappointed at any level. First, the home is spacious and well appointed so no matter how many people are taking a shower, there is hot water. No matter if another load of laundry needs to go in...there are two washers and dryers. Two dishwashers, too! Air conditioner kept us cool when the day heated up. And a large outside yard that accommodates large parties....so Nicole's house became a meeting area most evenings. The "new" central highway makes it an easy drive between the airport, Georgetown, and the house in West Bay....though many people enjoyed the outdoors and walked instead of taking the bus or taxi, which, by the way, run right outside, making transportation sooooo easy. PLUS, the local restaurants, like Al Fresco and Heritage House are wonderful, an easy walk, and have great local Caymanian flavor. Some of the best snorkeling in the Caymans is off Cemetary Beach, a short walk away, as is diving the Kittewake from the dock at the nearby West Bay Public Beach. I have a timeshare in the Caymans near the Kirk downtown and have not spent much time in West Bay. I am so thankful that we rented Nicole's house because I never really experienced this island before without the hordes of people the cruise ships bring in, and there are so many opportunities for FUN right around the corner from the home in West Bay. Stocking up on food is easy too, at Fosters, less than a five minute walk. And I haven't even started to talk about what a nice warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful woman Nicole is. I obviously could go on and on about her and her home. But I think you get the point. You need look no further for a place to stay.
You can tell that this is a home filled with love. And a feeling of freedom and lightness. I was a hop, skip from the beach, the bank, and grocery, clothing, and beauty supply stores and thoroughly enjoyed my time in the house. I was in Grand Cayman to do a fresh juice detox and as uncomfortable as this can be for the body, I could not have been more at home in the Ritch Residence. I felt welcome and supported and my room was pretty and very comfy. Nicole is an amazing soul and I got to meet her children who are all super smart and creatively expressive, a wonderful reflection of her. Nicole's family also has a legacy of the best culinary talent on the island. A very special place with a beautiful energy. It felt open, spacious and inviting. This is a great space for groups. I was there alone but I can imagine if I were to go with a group of friends and take over the house how amazing a time we would have. I highly recommend!
I was really impressed and wasn't expecting such nice accommodations and hospitality from the owners. The owners are genuinely good people and very helpful/responsive. The house is beautiful, right on the bus route, across from the beach, super short walking distance to a large super market, bank, gas station, 24hr Subway (don't judge), and is very easy to get to. While on a main road, this place is sound proof and very quite. Every shower was great and plenty of nice bathrooms. The AC cranks and 2 washer and dryers. Boom.
I would definitely recommend this place for all types of guests. Can't beat it.
We had a wonderful stay at the Ritch Residence. The home itself is very spacious, ample bathrooms to accommodate my large group getting ready for wedding activities, etc. and great location close to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. If you want to venture further you can catch public transportation right out front. The property owner Nicole greeted us when we arrived, gave us a tour and took the time to answer all our questions. Highly recommended!

The Al Fresco Café offers beach front dining in a casual atmosphere and serves many local dishes. The Tim Buc Tu Diner is rated as one of the top restaurants in Grand Cayman . They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Take the two minute stroll over in the morning for all you can eat pancakes and a gourmet coffee. There is also a local fish fry restaurant steps away.
