Bass Lake / Yosemite Home Perfect For Family With Kids

Charming mountain home complete with child tree fort and sledding down a great child friendly hill in winter. CLOSE to lake, town, Yosemite or perfect for just relaxing. Has 2 large decks and fire pit. Overlooks forest with trails directly out back door. Sleeps 8. Linens, dishes provided. Just 5 min drive to lake or 10 min walk downhill through woods.
About Liz

We are a family of 4 who love the outdoors. Walking, hiking, biking, water and snow skiing and waterfall hiking are out favorite things. We love this area for all the things other mountain lakes have with less noise and Yosemite at our finger tips. We love the area so much we thought we would share it with others at an affordable rate, as we feel ALL children should experience nature.

If you love to have lots of action and things to do, but come home to a place in a quiet area, that feels like your home, then this is the place for you. Especially if you have younger children.

What makes this house unique

Centrally located to many things we so much to offer. We even built a tree fort for children. The property has an amazing endless BlackBerry vine for picking daily fruit in late summer and since our property faces north and we are high, our snow lasts on our property longer than everyone elses.

Just a 8 minute walk through woods to beautiful lake view or 5 min drive. Woods out back take you to hiking or biking trails which are great for sledding in winter. The area also has ziplining, waterfalls, fishing, boating, skiing both water and son in yosemite. Yosemite gates 20 min drive. Great place for a quiet family getaway!

Amazing get away

My family and I had a WONDERFUL time, we can not wait to go back. The home was beautiful and so nicely kept, very clean. We loved it. My kids loved the fort which was named Mickey Mouse club house while we were there :-) We roasted marshmallows and made smore at the fire pit which we all loved. The back yard patio was so relaxing and the view was just breath taking. Beautiful trails to go for hikes just right in the back yard! The owner was very informative and an all around very nice lady. There are movies and games for the kids. The kitchen was full equipped with pots and pans. Just minutes away fromt Bass Lake. I strongly recommend this home to any family, you will not be disappointed.
