Large Uptown Apartment With Open Floor Plan On Napoleon Ave

Enjoy the charm and convenience of Uptown New Orleans in a house with a story. The property has been used as a location for two Hollywood South Films! It was featured in The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons staring Brad Pitt and Kate Blanchet and was also used in filming of The Paperboy staring Nicole Kidman.

The house is located on the Mardi Gras Day Parade Route! Stand on the front lawn and enjoy the Rex the King of Carnival and the truck parades. Walk a few blocks to St. Charles Ave. and catch all of the other parades in family friendly Uptown. When there are no parades you can enjoy a ride on the worlds oldest streetcar line to view Historic Mansions and beautiful Audubon Park with its world class zoo or play a round of golf. Head the other way down St Charles Ave. to the French Quarter and it’s a different side of history. You can stroll through the French Quarter and enjoy a different festival nearly every weekend, the amazing architecture, restaurants, antique shopping, the Audubon Aquarium and Insecterium, Mississippi Riverfront, Jackson Square. If you’re more the party all night type there’s always Bourbon Street and if you’re here for the music there always live music on Frenchman St.

There are also so many fabulous restaurants, boutiques, antique shops, art galleries and live music venues Uptown. The property is centrally located so you can enjoy all of what New Orleans has to offer!

The apartment is a large, modern, two bedroom, two full bath apartment located on Napoleon Avenue. The unit features an open floor plan, independent bedrooms and a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a side by side refrigerator, ceramic top stove, built in microwave, dishwasher and washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a private full bath with a shower, queen sized TempurPedic bed. The second bedroom has a king sized bed with a comfy pillow-top mattress and the bathroom is located just a few steps away. There is also a queen sized blow up mattress if you need a little more sleeping space. It is located next to a playground for the kid.

Location! Location! Location! Walking distance to Mardi Gras and St. Charles Avenue! It's always a great place to take a walk and discover something new and beautiful. I live in the heart of New Orleans but there are tons of trees and flowers. It's close enough to the French Quarter but not too close. Uptown is convenient to all of the best New Orleans has to offer!

VERY COMFORTABLE

We were visiting our daughter who goes to school at Tulane. This was a very short distance away in the garden district. Very convenient location to St. Charles, Market Street and a short distance to downtown. Angele was very easy to work with. Very accomadating. The place was extremely nice. Very clean and very spacious. Lots of room to hang out as a family after a great day in NOLA. We stayed three days and would absolutely stay again. Hard pressed to find a better place location wise to everything and a great hostess.

FIRST TRIP TO NOLA

My wife was going to New Orleans for a conference, so we turned it into a vacation getaway. Angele's condo was perfect for our needs. Only a few blocks from the St. Charles trolley and 3 miles from the convention center. It provided easy access to the conference, downtown and the French Quarter. And, Angele was a perfect host and her condo was spacious, well decorated and very comfortable. WE had a wonderful time and hope to use it again on a return trip.

GREAT LOCATION!

We had 2 couples in the condo for a long weekend. The location is conveniently located between Tulane and downtown NOLA. We had a reserved parking spot for our car. The condo is large with a big kitchen and 2 good sized bedrooms. There are several excellent restaurants in walking distance and the streetcar is also just a short walk away.

COMFORTABLE AND GREAT LOCATION!

The apartment was clean and the beds very comfortable. There is a park across the street, giving extra play area for children. Getting a Jazzy Pass from a local Walgreens, saves parking issues downtown by allowing you to use the bus (boarding 3 blocks down) and then the streetcars. This is a great location for going to the French Quarter or the Zoo. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. Angele was very helpful and is a sweetheart! Renting an apartment is so much nicer than staying in a crowded hotel room. We will stay here again!

NICE PLACE, GOOD LOCATION

No surprises, everything exactly as advertised. Nothing fancy, just solid, clean, comfortable, well-maintained accommodations. Owner very friendly and easy to work with and she promptly returned deposit. Only drag was the trolley was shut down b/t Louisiana and Napoleon for maintenance and it rained all day Saturday. A couple of good restaurants very close by and Fat Harry's has always been a favorite watering hole. Plenty of room to park a car or two on street. Kitchen fairly well equipped. Tiny TV is a drawback, but you really don't go to Nawlins to stay inside and watch TV (but it was bowl season...)
