Guestbook comments from the owner
A great place to stay With a large family it's not easy finding a place to fit us all. Here everyone had their own bed! There was plenty of dishes in the kitchen. We ate at home more than going out. We enjoyed visiting the mountains, hiking the trails, and horseback riding. Thank you for providing a place to come and relax.

Our family of four has traveled since our first daughter was six weeks old. We love to explore new places and meet new people and learn about the rich history our nation has to offer. We have traveled from Ecuador to Alaska and have yet to find a place we wouldn't go back to. But Tennessee seems to be the place we go back to most often. The people are friendly and don't take things too seriously and the pace is nice and easy.
Our family has vacationed so many times in the Smoky Mountains that it was time to invest permanently in the region. We purchased the cabin, practically gutted it and gave it a fresh new updated look, with touches of classic Smoky Mountain charm.
When we finally found Bear Ridge Cabin after many weeks of searching we knew it was right for us. Just far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough you can hear the steam train whistle from Dollywood. You can hardly see the neighbors but they are close enough that we have gotten to know them very well and enjoy their company when we come into town. You feel like you are 50 miles from civilization but it's a quick 5 mile drive to main strip with all the action.
