Built in 2004, this 1100 square foot cottage is located in a friendly, quiet neighborhood know as Landa Estates. Fully furnished with up to date appliances, granite kitchen counter tops, and hardwood kitchen cabinets, this is the ideal winter home for a couple seeking the mild climate of central Texas.

The 18 hole Landa Park Golf Course is just 1 block away. The famous Comal Springs River is just a short walk (1.5 blocks). And you have full access to a private park located on an island in the middle of the river appropriately called 'The Island'.

With water temperatures ranging between 69-72 F degrees year round, winter swimming is common. Our canoe is stored on 'The Island', so enjoy lazy hours paddling on this spring fed river.

New Braunfels is a little bit of old Germany smack dab in the middle of the Texas Hill Country. It's the kind of old-fashioned town that makes folks feel right at home.

After all, in New Braunfels you can dine at bier gartens and dance to oompah music. Tube down cool, clear rivers or sail across deep, blue lakes. Whitewater rafting on the rock etched Guadelupe river is just 5 minutes away in Gruene Texas.

Built in 1878, Gruene Hall is the oldest continually running dance hall in Texas, and the Central Texas birthplace to many great songwriters and musicians. Live Entertainment featured daily. Just up the road 15 minutes is the San Marcos Outlet Mall, the second most visited tourist site in Texas behind only the Alamo in San Antonio.

Schlitterbahn, the world's best waterpark, is just around the corner (1/4 mile). Enjoy Schlitterbahn's Hill Country Christmas with more than a million lights, ice skating, sledding, dazzling shows, festive food, a crafter's village, unique shopping and much more.
