fantastic Ocean Park apartment

I attended a wedding with four other friends (2 couples and a single guy), and we had a blast. Having two bedrooms and a futon served our needs perfectly, as did the 2 bathrooms - which was helpful with getting ready for the wedding. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio, which is an ideal spot to begin the day reading books in the sunshine and to end it with a few drinks, and the proximity to the beach (roughly a 3-minute walk). The owner was regularly in touch with me to answer questions and willing to accommodate our needs as necessary. Even though there are two other apartments on the property which he rents to residents, we never saw them and felt like we had the place to ourselves. If you're looking to spend most of your time in Old San Juan, there's more convenient locations, but you'll likely end up paying more than these reasonable rates. Taxis are typically $20-25 to get wherever you want to go, but my group found occasional difficulties trying to get a cab to pick us up. From what we could tell it wasn't that it was especially far as much as many of the taxi drivers on the island seemed lazy. But once we found a reliable company that we liked (the name of which I promptly forgot), we continued to use them for the remainder of the trip.
Overall, we loved our vacation and would definitely return should we find ourselves back in Puerto Rico.
