The recently renovated and restored property contains an 1892 Victorian home with many period details including high ceilings, oversized windows, front and back porches, a collection of antique stained-glass windows and fireplace.
McQueen married his third wife Barbara Minty in the living room. The mountain-view ranch is surrounded by 3-acres of Syrah grape vines, a large fishpond with waterfalls, fruit trees, organic vegetable gardens and a 4,500 -square-foot hangar where McQueen kept his airplane. In 1979, McQueen and his wife Barbara escaped Hollywood to the peaceful Santa Paula Ranch. Barbra documented their days at the ranch in her book “Steve McQueen: The Last Mile.” If you are a McQueen fan, you can see his collection of old pull-chain toilets from old bus stations. You can ride the motorcycle tract that McQueen enjoyed. The large patio and lawn surrounded by white roses provide a private and beautiful location to relax.

The bank-owned ranch that Steve McQueen once owned has sold for $660,000. The Victorian-style house, built in 1892, contains some original Victorian features, stained-glass windows and fireplaces.

The bank-owned Santa Paula ranch that screen star Steve McQueen and his third wife, Barbara Minty.The property was listed in 2009 .
The pair moved to the 15.3-acre Ventura County ranch in 1979 and were married in the home's living room in January 1980.
The Victorian-style house, built in 1892, contains some of its original Victorian features, antique stained-glass windows and fireplaces in the family room and kitchen.
The mountain-view ranch includes Syrah grape vines, fruit trees, a pond, equestrian facilities and a 4,500-square-foot hangar where McQueen kept his motorcycles.
McQueen, who died in 1980 at 50, appeared in such films as 'The Magnificent Seven' (1960), 'The Great Escape' (1963), 'Papillon' (1973) and 'The Towering Inferno' (1974).
The buyer, a golf pro from Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley, is building a couple of golf holes and a grass tennis court on the property. He also is reviving the vineyards, said listing agent Doug Puetz of Keller Williams Realty's Calabasas office. Puetz estimated he received about 150 inquiries about the property, including some from overseas.
