Sleeps six in three bedrooms, but two additional twin mattresses allow up to eight under certain conditions... .....We prefer not to rent to more than six.........Washer Dryer, fully equipped kitchen, 1.5 mile walk on the beach in both directions finds oceanfront seafood restaurants. Ideal for surfing, huge garage could store a lot of motorcycles......indescribably relaxing.

I will have a tourist map of the area available, as well as a few menus of local casual seafood restaurants, and to-go choices.....quiet, residential neighborhood....at times you will have the whole beach to your self.....Summer holidays get busy, but nowhere near as busy as tourist areas........We are NOT in a major tourist area.........because there are no condos around and only houses, it is a more low-keyed atmosphere...

We are six miles south of Daytona Beach and 1 mile north of Ponce Inlet. Quiet, residential area.

Dawn is exquisite, the ocean is to the east, and the sun rises over the ocean, and through your windows.......At 4:00 pm the seabreeze kicks up, the back yard is shaded and ideal for sitting on the patio facing the sea......After dark, the beach is so white that it glows in the starlight/moonlight, and unbelievably stunning scene, with no artificial lighting, and you can easily see where you are going for an after-dark-stroll. ......We will do what we can to make this your most pleasant relaxing Florida stay ever!

At the end of the Inlet is a water taxi boat you can take over to New Smyrna Beach, and have more choices of restaurants, and touristy stuff....

About Sam Click, Owner

Second home for us, have used and enjoyed on weekends. We live in Winter Park, an hour away. We like the quiet. We read books, and listen to the pounding surf.

We are fussier about our house than people with an investment house. We love it so much, but have to rent it because taxes , insurance and mortgage are exorbitant!.

Why Sam Click, Owner chose Daytona Beach Shores

Although the house is older, this particular beach site is the most desirable there is at any price.........

We bought it as a weekend escape, and the view and location are incomparable. On weekdays, sometimes you will look up the beach and down, and not see another soul. It is in a neighborhood of home owners. Almost no tourist traffic. No Condos. Mostly owner occupied homes, although some owners rent them out.

For any group to enjoy a long stay at the beach, they need a large, spacious house and yard so they don't annoy each other sooner or later........and condo's .....forget it! Elbow to elbow with strangers...parking structures, speed bumps,....grumpy condo associations ..with signs everywhere saying "don't do this" and "don't do that".

Sitting around their dinky pool are people who look disgusting in swimsuits..........But here! ..........Pull your car right up to the kitchen door and unload your stuff!....No elevators, no gate codes!.......Why would families on vacation want to put up with all that?!

What makes this house unique

Many unique benefits over other beach houses.....too many to list here.....Oversized garage to store your surfing toys, your motor cycles, and your other toys......

As for the beach location, six miles from Downtown Daytona...access to town, shopping and attractions, but far away enough to have no crime, very little noise.....far less tourists. ....On the east coast of the US, it is rare to have a neighborhood of single family homes,....no condos....just houses that directly back up to the sea.

Lovely house, lovely location, great owners

Family members, including my 8-yr old daughter, spent 4 nights at the house. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, and always quick to respond. The house is lovely - furnished nicely, very clean, and with an amazing location right on the beach. It was like staying at a beach house owned by a well-to-do and generous best friend! We wouldn't change a thing about our stay, other than to make it longer next time!

Comfortable home, right on the beach!

This was a really nice and comfortable home in a quiet, residential area. The location right on the beach was ideal and scenic. The beach is clean and spacious - lots of room to walk, run, and play. There is a busy street right out in front, so there is a little bit of road noise.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your input! There is more traffic when there are special events in Daytona, like NASCAR and Bike Week....I am truly sorry that it disturbed you, but I have no remedy for that...Any house or Condo directly on the beach is on Atlantic Ave...a busy road.....As for safety of children, Yes , very safe for children to ride bikes or walk, play...other areas are not safe at all......In ten years we have owned it, we have never heard of any crime or theft or anything like that..

My husband, myself and our two girls (2&3) rented this house for the week, and we absolutely loved it. Sam was extreamly easy to work with, and the view from the house is stunning. This house is on a very secluded car free area of the beach, but it is very close to ponce inlet light house and the board walk. If we visit this area again, I will certainly be renting again.

Great View, Quiet, Comfortable House, Very Easy To Deal With

The house was very comfortable and well furnished. Driveway empties onto a beach access as opposed to the main highway which makes getting in and out easier. Rented with a group of friends for the Daytona 500 weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed the night after the race, being able to relax at the house with the beach side doors open. The view is incredible. We had a great time and had no complaints.

Well maintained house on the less busy portion of the beach. Photos and listing description are very accurate (we ended up using the two extra twin mattresses which are located up in the loft room). Would definitely recommend this to a friend and would stay here again. The owner was helpful and easy to deal with.

Not too touristy. No condos nearby, just houses. This creates a more quiet beach except holiday weekends. In off season months, on weekdays, the beach can be desolate. There are beach front restaurants 1.5 miles away in either direction. Nice walk down the beach to the restaurants. Walk home along the beach, no DUI worries. Stock Car fans: House is 1.5 miles from the famous North Turn Restaurant. Before the Daytona Speedway was built, cars raced on the beach, in an oval. The North turn of the oval is where the restaurant is now. It is filled with memorabilia from early stock car racing days. Walk there from the house!

I only have two reviews...however I have rented it ten times.

. We have had wonderful people who fell in love with it, but, honestly, one family who hated it and complained about everything. They were very fine people , Partly my fault, but they complained about everything else too. I will be very careful about details, because I do NOT want disgruntled people at any price! ..We want people who love it and appreciate it.
