This property was not cleaned very well. It had a distinctive musty smell. The bathroom towels smelled musty too. We received harrassment by condo manager because we were not given parking passes by the owner. Food was left in the fridge and the first dish I pulled out of the cabinet was dirty not to mention the sponge in the sink smelled of mildew. We were not given enough bath tissue or paper towels for three people staying for three days. Value condo should not mean dirty condo. I do not recommend this property.
Owner's Response: Unfortunately I was out of the Country during her stay. I was available by text, but not by phone. With in 5 minutes of landing in Denver I immediately returned her phone call after listening to her message. I explained that I had just finally received the parking pass from the HOA a day before our departure and was unable to get it to Big Sky before we left. I apologized profusely for the rude treatment she received from the HOA and assured her I would be speaking with them. She at this time already had it taken care of. The HOA does not work for or through me, but is the Hill Condo Associations responsibility, unfortunately I have no control over their personnel or actions, but will be letting them know that they were found to be very rude to my tenants.
I have not received any comments regarding the smell, in fact we had new carpet put in the week before her stay.
As far as the other complaints, the stay was a three night stay for three people, I do believe the toilet paper and paper towels should have been sufficient. I do leave anything that may not be perishable in the condo units so the next person may use it. Onion and garlic were not bad. I appreciate feedback to let me know when things aren't up to par such as the dishes. These things are addressed with cleaning.
I do try to set my prices very fair for the type of condo I am renting. You will notice that the price on this condo is the lowest in the Big Sky market. Having said that, I do realize some people have different expectations than others and I am always one to try and make it right.
In response to her complaints prior to this review I refunded her $25 per night. Unfortunately that didn't suffice....
