Peaceful Keene Lodge In The Heart Of The High Peaks

The dining room, which is open to the kitchen and living room, can comfortably seat 12 people at the new hand made pine and birch table. French doors open off the dining room onto a large deck over looking the meadow. On the deck you will find chairs to relax in, a picnic table with benches, and a gas grill.

The great room, with its vaulted ceiling, has seating for 12 people.There is a gas fireplace for those chilly nights. Upstairs on the south side there is a family room, with TV, DVD player, DVDs, games and a gas fire place for your enjoyment.The family room and the deck off the family room have a view of the Sentinel Range.

The front porch is a great place to unwind in Adirondack chairs. Step off the porch and there are 22 acres to explore. The large meadow has a fire pit with seating. There is firewood in the nearby lean-to. The meadow provides plenty of room for outdoor games. There is a marked 1 mile trail which takes you up Eisenglass Mountain.

The woods are full of variety, color and boulders...they are a wonderful place to walk. In season, wild raspberry's abound, and on many days deer are in the meadow.
