We own this vacation home with Mike's sister Mary Beth. Mike & I have been married for more than 40 years. A few years ago we fell in love with the desert cities. The weather, the friendliness, and the beautiful landscaping. This is our second vacation home in the desert, and we love visiting them both ourselves. We try to provide everything vacationers could possibly need. If you think of something we can do to improve your stay, by all mean, please let us know. It's such a pleasure to make this a place you'll want to come back to again and again.
Debbie purchased this house in 2012
Of course this is a golfer's paradise, but there are so many other activities and adventures in these wonderful desert cities. There is shopping galore, from downtown Palm Springs, to our answer to Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive, the glamorous El Paseo Drive in Palm Desert. Year round on Thurs evenings you'll find downtown Palm Springs alive with unique juried street vendors & lively entertainment not to mention the giant statue of Marilyn Monroe perfect for snapping pictures of yourself next to her. I love knocking around the fabulous consignment shops around the area. And don't miss the street fair every Sat. & Sun. at the College of the Desert, next to McCallum theatre. Speaking of McCallum Theatre, there is always live entertainment fun there, check it out online to see what might be going on there while you're in town.
There are several casinos in the area if slots and black jack are what tempt you.
You can book a desert adventure that will take you out to the San Andreas fault and show you a true natural oasis, like nothing you've ever seen. I highly recommend this. I can help you with more info about that. There is so much going on here in the desert cities I haven't even had time in the 5 years I've been coming here to visit the Living Desert Zoo, but have heard it's a fantastic place to visit.
If hiking is your thing there's an abundant amount of hiking trails in the nearby mountains. Check out one of them on line, put 'The Bump & Grind Trail' in your search engine to check it out.
This is just fraction of the treasures you'll find here. Give yourself the gift of a fabulous vacation in the desert cities near Palm Springs.
