Yacht Description

Our 45 foot Robertson & Caine Leopard Catamaran has great charter history and for very good reason!!

First, we have one of the most sought after charter captains available in the US/BVI today. He has been chartering these islands for the past 8 years and he excited to share both his experiences and love of these amazing Islands with you.

He is a great dive master, snorkel leader, fisherman, hiking trail leader, dingy driver, water skiing tip provider and beach bar locator. He is also a great chef and loves sharing his lovely wife's recipes when entertaining guests who choose the half board charter option. He will do everything possible to make sure you have the very best vacation of your life.

Secondly, this yacht has some serious WOW factor going on, thanks to its well designed layout, spacious accommodations, modern features and thoughtful amenities. This yacht is an easy choice even the most discerning guests.

When you first step inside this yacht you will think it is brand new!! The yacht is spotless and shines inside and out with care and pride of ownership. It has been professionally (re)decorated in trendy, but not overpowering, Caribbean colors. Our easy care materials and bright, beautiful décor are both functional and comfortable. You will settle in quickly and feel right at home in no time.

Guests have plenty of room to move about freely and find their own spaces on the boat, or come together to enjoy each other’s company and never feel crowded.

The well-appointed galley location (up) makes cooking and entertaining a breeze. If you choose a captain only option and decide to prepare meals yourself, you will find our galley is well appointed with all the mixing, stirring, flipping, cutting cooking, baking gizmos and appliances you would find at home.

We have 3 equal sized queen cabins, all with great headroom, private en-suite heads and showers, a hanging closet for clothes and plenty of shelves for storage of clothes, books, electronics. Finally, the queen size beds are really queen size and really, really comfortable. Really. I'm not lying.

Our yacht is fully air-conditioned (although rarely needed) and has an onboard water maker reducing the need for excessive plastic water bottle.

For guests’ digital enjoyment/ entertainment needs we have wifi even while at sea, satellite radio, an I-pod dock/hock up, portable Bluetooth wireless speakers, a hard drive with of over 2000 first rate movies. For those looking for some good, old fashioned pastimes, we also have plenty of paper books, playing cards and board games.

The outdoor cockpit, dining area, front deck and trampolines of this yacht model really make it one of the best layout for a charter yacht catamaran. The back transom and swim scoops make getting into and out of the warm Caribbean water easy for guests of all ages and abilities.

There are enough snorkels and fins for everybody and our rates include scuba diving for certified divers. A Kayak and stand up paddle board is available for you to view the reefs and water creatures from above or explore a quiet mangrove up close and personal. Others may prefer to simply enjoy the many loungers, floats and noodles in the warm, crystal clear waters.

Our powerful tender (dinghy) seats 8 people comfortably for trips to shore and is great for active guests who are interested in trying out our water ski's and wake boards.

Guestbook comments from the owner
We have had such a fun, memorable time seeing the islands, learning some history, snorkeling, eating, eating, eating (Yummy!) and so many other great memories. The kids will remember this vacation forever – in fact, the highest compliment is to be a destination to return to since we always do a different vacation every year!! Danny told us yesterday that we could come back next year because technically we see different islands every day!! That is the highest compliment especially from a 14 year old boy who is hard to impress!! You have rocked his world.

We have so many wonderful memories from our trip with you both. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love of the region.

Matt, the dives/snorkeling was AWESOME! Thanks also for the “off road” tour of the Baths. Next time I will do the jump! I think Kelly’s “ski” down the wall will be tough to beat! ?

We are both originally from Canada and have relocated to the Virgin Islands, partly to escape the cold winters at home, and partly to follow our of living in the islands. Our first charter boat, which we still own and operate, was purchased in 2005. In the summer of 2013 friends of ours decided to sell their beautiful and very successful charter business and we jumped at the opportunity to own her.

We love entertaining and meeting new people and sharing our love of the islands, the laid back culture, beautiful beach hideaways with new and returning visitors!! We cannot wait to welcome you aboard our new yacht.

Randeen Cayer- Owner Operator purchased this boat in 2005

The Virgin Islands are known as some of the best sailing grounds of the world. The calm waters of the Virgin Islands make sailing easy for everyone, and the vast number of islands, variety of anchorages and both water based and land based activities mean that there is always something new to see and do.

Or, simple do nothing at all, lay back, relax and enjoy the amazing scenery, wonderful weather and cool drinks while living on 'island time'

Limin

Unforgettable beaches will take your breath away on a daily basis. Your Captain knows all the best spots to anchor depending on the mood you are in....you can choose the quiet and romantic Peter Island or visit one of the many active beach bars, wonderful restaurants and hopping night life found at the world famous Willy T on Norman Island or the Soggy Dollar and Foxy's Night Club on Jost Van Dyke.

Even better, your 7 day sailing adventure can include both, all, none or more making this vacation more than you have ever imagined.

Whether you are looking for a fully crewed, all inclusive vacation with gourmet meals and drinks provided, or a Captain Only vacation that allows you take over in the galley or dine shore, we guarantee our luxury catamaran will be the perfect choice for you.

Let your dreams set sail!!!

TRIP OF A LIFETIME

  • 5 of 5
We chartered the Free Ingwe (March 2014) for the most unforgettable 5 nights. The boat was perfect for us. The cabins were comfortable, the AC worked well (even though I mostly slept under the stars) and the boat was always clean and tidy. Our captain's name was Matt and we believe the captain is the most deciding factor in how enjoyable your trip is. Matt is phenomenal! Anything we wanted to do and he would make it happen. His attitude was "We can do anything you want, but with only 5 days, you may have to make some trade offs". After we told him everything we wanted to do, (which was basically everything you could imagine in the islands), he crafted a trip that allowed us to do an insane amount.

Matt takes incredible care of the boat and his crew. He's always doing something to make the trip more seamless and care free! He knows the area better than almost anyone in the islands and knew exactly where to take us to give us the customized island vacation that suited our needs.

We chartered the boat from Randeen, who is also great to work with. We were originally going to dive with our captain but he had been injured the day we arrived so he couldn't dive with us. Randeen, without any issues, fully refunded our diving costs. It is that type of fair treatment that creates return customers! We also used her service to deliver all of our food and we had no trouble. I highly recommend spending a little bit more to have your food delivered. By the time you factor in cost of transportation to a grocery store, liquor, etc. as well as the time to shop, it just makes sense to pay the modest service fee. We opted not to fill out the food chart provided and gave a custom list. While this was likely a bit more of a pain for the person shopping for us, they did a great job making the most of the list they gave us (Just be sure to tell them to use their best judgement for an alternative if what you want isn't available or else you might not get it!).

Some background on our group: 6 friends in our late 20's to mid 30's.

Owner's Response: Hi Jeff, thank you so much for taking the time to send us such a great review. It was great hosting your group aboard Free Ingwe. Having the opportunity to host fun loving charter groups such as yours really makes this job a dream come true.
Hopefully you and your friends can make it back down soon so we can get you out to some of those great dive sites !!
Cheers, Randeen & Matt

THE OWNER OF THIS BOAT ROCKS!!!

  • 5 of 5
Randeen is amazing! She totally helped us with planning our whole trip. She was able to find us a great boat and captain as this exact boat was booked our dates. We felt secure knowing that an expert was there to help and she really put in the extra effort to make our trip amazing. We did an all girls trip and felt 100% comfortable with the captain that she paired us with. The boat was perfect too. We can't wait to come back and will certainly use her again - hopefully this time she will be free. Call her. You won't be sorry!

ABSOLUTELY STUPENDOUS TRIP!

  • 5 of 5
This was a brilliant vacation. I was a bit hesitant before arrival. Geoff and Bambi were the most gracious hosts and set me at ease immediately. My husband, daughter and nephew had the time of their lives. The boat was immaculate, accommodations were the best. It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever been on. I'm not sure we would ever do a hotel again in the Caribbean. Every place we went was a new experience. The snorkeling amazing. Thanks for the best trip ever.

Car: not necessary

Your charter yacht will visit an array of beautiful islands routes through the US, British and Spanish Virgin Islands. We can also arrange charters down island in St. Martin/ St.Marteen, St. Barth, Antigua, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

We are happy to pick you up on any Island location to begin or end your charter. Every charter route is uniquely designed with input of the guests so that we are sure to bring each group to their idea of 'the very best place to visit'.

Here is an overview of some of the activities that await

Sailing

Always wanted to learn how, but never had the chance? Now’s the time! Feel free to help as much or a little as you’d like when we sail around the islands. Whether you help us adjust the sails or take the helm you’re in for a truly exciting experience!

Beaches

If the BVI slogan “Nature’s Little Secrets” doesn’t give it away, then you must see it for yourself. The BVI boasts some of the most astoundingly beautiful beaches you will ever see. White Bay, Savannah Bay and Sandy Spit, to name a few, are guaranteed to take your breath away.

Take an afternoon swim at Dead Man’s Bay on Peter Island, or get lost on Anegada’s endless beach while watching the sunset. All along the journey you’ll truly feel that you are in paradise.

Water Activities

What’s your poison? Waterskiing or wakeboarding? Knee boarding or “noodling”? Snorkeling or kayaking? We’ve got it all! No need to bring your equipment as we have everything you need to spend your time in the water the way you like!

Interested in SCUBA diving?

The same island geography that makes the BVI a perfect sailing destination, also creates excellent SCUBA diving. The British Virgin Islands are full of quiet harbors protected by wind swept points. These points often extend below the water’s surface in the form of fantastic coral reefs teeming with wildlife.

Hiking

Want to take a break from the boat? The islands offer a number of great hikes. Take the morning to walk up Norman Island, and discover an old pirates’ lookout. Or find the abandoned house on Peter Island complete with artistic tile mosaics, most of which are still intact.

The Gorda Peak National Park boasts the highest point on Virgin Gorda. Once you reach 1359 feet, climb the wooden observation tower and take in the stunnig view the British Virgin Islands.

Finally stroll along Anegada’s endless of beach. Afterward, reward yourself with a cocktail at Cow Wreck Beach Bar, and when you’re ready to return to the boat, simply call for a taxi.

Spa

If your idea of relaxing includes a hot-stone massage or a pedicure, indulge in treatment. Peter Island Resort boasts a world-class spa. The islands of Tortola and Virgin Gorda offer spa options as well. Let us know, and we’ll help you book your treatment of choice.

Nightlife

While evenings on the water tend to be quiet and relaxing, the islands offer nightlife ranging from tranquil to absolutely crazy.

Looking for a place to shake your booty? The Willy T at Norman Island or Foxy’s on Jost van Dyke can offer you the music and ambiance to do just that.

Here during the full moon? Trellis Bay and Bomba Shack in Apple Bay offer Full Moon parties complete with food, drinks and live entertainment. The former offers a family-friendly atmosphere, while the latter, (the original) is a party where anything can happen.

There are a number of options throughout the islands to take in some live music. Quito's, Myett's and the Rock on Virgin Gorda to name a few.

Shopping

While you won’t find a shopping mall Mecca in the islands, you will find little gems along the way to satisfy your inner shopaholic. Most islands have at least one to two shops where you can find souvenir t-shirts, local art and handicrafts.

Of course, when you’re ready to relax, you can lounge with a book on the bow trampolines, float on a noodle with a tropical drink, or doze in a hammock on one of the many white sand beaches. Since our yacht is your own personal floating resort, you choose what makes your ideal BVI yacht charter.
