Sandpiper is a mid-century modern oasis located just a few blocks from El Paseo shopping district. The Sandpiper development was built by the famous mid-century architect William Krisel, with each unit around a common area with a pool having it's own charisma and appeal.
In addition to El Paseo, there are many amenities and attractions within walking distance including grocery stores, restaurants, wine store, dry cleaner, hiking trails, Palm Springs Art Museum, Palm Desert Farmer's Market, Westfield Mall, and Starbucks. Within driving distance are golf courses, tennis courts, the Living Desert, McCallum Theatre, casinos, Indian Wells, downtown Palm Springs, and Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Our unit was completely renovated in 2012, and boasts new bathrooms, kitchen cupboards and appliances, tile, carpet, paint and lighting fixtures. The master bedroom has a Cal King and flat screen TV, the guest room has a Queen bed. The Living Room has state of the art electronics including a 50' Flat Screen TV and Magnapan speakers. You are truly in the Garden of Eden, with multiple different citrus trees steps away from the front door!
Enjoy breakfast on the patio with views of the mountains and spectacular sunrises, the afternoon sun at the pool, or grill dinner on the BBQ poolside and enjoy the patio heater for cooler nights!
We love to travel and found a paradise in Sandpiper! As this is our vacation home, we are looking for renter's who will treat it with respect and enjoy the Sandpiper we fell in love with!

Updated Mid Century development and all the amenities we wanted with great access to nearly everything!
Our first time renting for a month in Palm Springs, and we loved it! The location of Sandpiper resort is the best.....close to great restaurants, shopping, hiking etc yet a very peaceful and private property. The grounds are impeccable . Very comfortable, updated accommodation with all the luxuries of home - with great owners. Thank you!
This place is "amazing". We loved the space and the extra large Island in the kitchen. This is the fourth unit we have rented in Sandpiper and by far the best! Thanks Tom.
We had a wonderful stay! This has to be the best location in Palm Desert! Being right on El Paseo and within walking distance of all of the activity was so convenient! The convenience and history of The Sandpiper was a huge attraction. The pool is so handy and having the BBQ facilities and out door dining with a view of the mountains was truly relaxing!
The house is beautifully appointed with all the necessities and then some! So nice to say in the mid-century modern atmosphere that is Palm Springs!
We can't wait to go back!
