George's family moved to Maui when he was 11. We met at the Kamaole III beach park at a sunset birthday party 18 years ago and have been together ever since. We are now raising two kids of our own here in Kihei. We love the quality of life here and we strive to provide you with the best accommodations to make sure you have a wonderful stay during your time on Maui.

Why Betty Jansen chose Kihei
The Island Surf building is a landmark in Kihei. It is located across from the infamous Cove park. The Cove has a lovely beach and is a great place for surfing and water sports. Built in 1973 the Island Surf has been very well maintained. It has elevators and plenty of parking. There is also a nice pool and BBQ area located on the same floor just down the hall from the Hulapalm. For your convenience the ground floor of the building is filled with shops such as scuba, surfing, salon, dinning, bikes, and more. The location for vacation necessities such as coffee, grocery shopping, restaurants, dancing, bars, and more are all within a few minutes walk. Across the street is Kalama park offering beautiful walks, runs, or bike rides along the ocean front. There are public tennis courts, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and even an ocean front skating rink. If you are so inclined you could easily take a cab, shuttle, or the Maui Bus to the Hulapalm from the airport and not need a rental car. Most everything you need is within walking distance and the Bus system can provide transportation to most attactions on the island. Within minutes of The Hulapalm you can find all you need to create your perfect Maui vacation.
