Maui Sands unit 5B is a ground floor DIRECT OCEAN FRONT unit only 10 feet from the ocean. It's a large 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit with a queen bed, two twin size beds in the 2nd bedroom and a sofa bed in the front room. The kitchen and back yard lanai were remodeled just this past January 2012 and the bushes that were partially blocking your view of the ocean are GONE! Watch whales and turtles from IN YOU UNIT! Also, you'll have an assigned FREE parking spot which is very close to the unit. The direct ocean front units have a small grass areas in back between your lanai and the ocean and large grass areas in front of the unit. You'll have a 180 degree view of the ocean.

I didn't know it until I moved here but believe it or not, the sand moves up and down the beach and at different times of year we have a beach, other times, it's sea shells everywhere. But sand is never more than 50 feet away! During the summer months the beach at Kaanapali could be 100 feet wide, during the winter it can be only 10 feet to the ocean
