4 BR 3 bath log style home with easy access and views of Lake Cumberland. Bring your toothbrush and up to 8 people for a relaxing vacation.
We were looking for a quick quiet get away from Lexington KY. This house was perfect. It was secluded and offered an excellent location for my Husband and I with our two dogs to get away from it all and relax.
Beautiful home with a beautiful view! Definitely will stay again. Home was clean and we enjoyed playing the variety of board games that was available. The only downside was the proximity to the marina.
We rented the house for a short weekend of boating and wanted to stay somewhere nicer than the traditional hotels and boating cabins located in this area. The house worked out great. It's spacious with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The house was as advertised in a new neighborhood / development with only 5-6 houses that have been built so it's extremely quiet and peaceful. You basically have the entire neighborhood to yourselves. We would definitely rent again.
My family of four and my parents rented this cabin for a week during July, and the photographs do not do it justice! The house is very new construction, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, quality linens, and the kitchen is stocked well with pantry staples and cooking supplies. It's also gorgeous! And the view, THE VIEW! These photographs fall short, it was breathtakingly beautiful, the river has a turquoise sheen during the day, and the sun sets directly across from the porch during the evening. Each sunset was amazing. My 9 yr-old went off exploring and found tons of fossils on a nearby hill! Everything works wonderfully, and we had a spectacular time!!! We will definitely be back!
Our family of 5 (plus dog) needed a short escape for Spring break. This was a perfect fit. Great cabin. Remote, quite, clean and roomy. It is located in empty gated community (only 6 of 120 lots are occupied). Plenty of room to run, ride bikes, walk the dog, play catch, etc. More than enough room to park a boat trailer in the street. And is just a few minutes from Alligator Creek (I and II) boat ramps and ~15 min from Russell Springs.
My only concern would be for older guests. The inside stairs are a bit steep and slippery. But there are two rooms on the main floor so usage of the stairs is not required for all guests.
NOTE: As of this posting, the location on the VBRO map is wrong, Google "e coffey rd eli, ky" for a better idea of its true location.
We rented the house for a short weekend of boating and it worked out nicely. The house was located just about 10 minutes from a public ramp (no fee). Just take route 76 southeast until you get to the ramp. If you need gas for the boat don’t worry you’ll will pass right by “Indian Hills Resort Alligator II Marina” on the way out to bigger water.
The house itself was just like it was advertised. The house is relatively new and located in a new neighborhood / development. The development is also gated. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable.
