I love the out doors. I Thank my Lord for allowing James and I to use this beautiful Land.
Robin Bird purchased this cabin in 2012
This Property was a God sent, I Looked for years for a place on the brow of the mountain, never had a chance to buy till now, my family was the 2nd settlers on the mountain Owen and Jane West, most of my family either was born and raised on Petit Jean ,Ada Valley and Carden Bottoms. I love family and History.
Enjoyed the great getaway, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Hope to return again soon,
My wife and I were here for a wedding this past weekend and had a wonderful time. The view from the balcony and deck are beautiful! We didn't have time to do any activities such as hiking, etc., but there were people that did and they really liked it. It's a really secluded area, which makes it perfect for a getaway vacation.
Robin is a wonderful host and will do anything she can to help your stay be as wonderful as possible. The cabin itself is very nice and up to date with everything you could possibly want; OK there's no stove, but who wants to cook on vacation anyway. :)
We will definitely be coming back. :)
Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin. We have two children and had plenty of room. The views from the deck were spectacular. It was the perfect spot for privacy after a day of exploring Petit Jean State Park.
We were very pleased with cabin...very clean and nice furnishings. The view was spectacular. It rained most of the weekend, but the deck was very nice. The road leading up to the cabin was much more narrow and rugged than expected. The outpost store at the end of the dirt road came in very handy as they serve treats and lunch. We stayed while attending a wedding at Petit Jean, and would stay here again!
My husband and I just spent three nights at the Native Cabin. It was very clean beautifully furnished. Robin was very helpful, and we loved the view! We especially enjoyed the buffet lunch, gift shop and legacy exhibit at WinRock Institute. The refurbished restaurant at Mather Lodge is beautifu - reminded us of the restaurant and lodge at Mt. Magazine. We've visited Petit Jean for 20 years and, of course, plan to return. We think it's Arkansas best state park!
Cabin was so clean and comfortable! Views were gorgeous, and the cabin was larger than it appeared in photos. We came up for a girls weekend and wedding - half our group stayed in this cabin, and the other half in the owner's second property next door, which was really convenient. I would recommend both!
