Lovely Cabin Close to Yellowstone East Entrance

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Erin and Brad's upstairs suite. The rooms were clean and well kept, the appliances seemed brand new, and the lodge had all the amenities we could want. Brad and Erin were wonderful -- extremely accommodating, genuine, friendly people. The lodge itself is gorgeous, with phenomenal window views of the stars and mountains, and it's location is conveniently close to the east entrance of yellowstone (in fact, i believe it is the second closest private lodgings to the east entrance). We were also pleasantly surprised when we discovered that our snowmobile rental company was located just next door, about a five minute walk from the cabin. The property is the perfect winter getaway location, with easy access both to the park, to local adventure companies, and to the charming town of Cody.

Paradise with a Smile

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this great home away from home June 2014. The owners were wonderful. They offered us many different suggestions to the area. They even offered to pick us up at the airport in Cody and drive us to their place. Booklets and pamphlets of Yellowstone National Park could be found in each cabin. We rented the two units that had the kitchenette and bedroom all in one room. The place was warm and cozy with very inviting furniture to the area.

Our daughter and husband with 3 small kids slept upstairs. It was nice putting the kids to bed early while the adults visited in the ground level unit. The kitchen area was well equipped. We cooked our dinners in the cabin. Each morning we made a picnic lunch to take to the park. We left the cabin by 8:30 AM and returned back to the cozy surroundings around 8. Cody is about 25 minutes east of the cabin. We had stocked up on food in Cody and never had the urge to return to city life except for the rodeo we took our grandkids too. The guys did that while mom and daughter had some peace and quiet one evening. Another plus, the larger unit was empty one day so we were able to take advantage of using the washing machine and dryer.

Yellowstone/Cody getaway

We stayed in the upper suite with our four kids(6-17). It was our first trip to Yellowstone/Cody area. This is a very nice place, easy to find, and a beautiful view to boot. I would definitely recommend it.

Deer hunter

  • 5 of 5

I stayed with a group of nine guys. We rented the main lodge and the upper and lower suite. We have rented other properties in Cody / Wapiti when hunting but this was the best lodging so far. The owners worked with us prior to the trip and visited us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The facility was very nice and had a beautiful view. I would recommend this place to anyone at any time of the year!

This is a remarkable place

  • 5 of 5

If you're looking to explore the most beautiful stretch of road in Wyoming, this is a great place to stay. It has everything you need, and nothing you don't. The lodge and adjacent units have been wonderfully restored and remodeled. The scenery is excellent!-- if beautiful mountain vistas and close encounters with North American big game species isn't your thing, you should stay elsewhere. Erin and Brad are great people and went out of their way to make sure our stay was nothing short of excellent.

Yellowstone/Cody Vacation

  • 4 of 5

Family of six used the main lodge as base camp while making trips to Yellowstone and Cody. Lodge was clean and beds were very comfortable. We made use of the bbq grill and outdoor fire pit on several occasions. Washer and dryer were very handy.
