This Camp Sits Directly On The River Bank! Large Sand Bars Hunting Fishing Relax

The camp is 1000 sq ft heated and cooled that is raised on stilts with wrap around porch and concrete slab underneath. The camp has central heating and air! There is a full kitchen and two grills on sight with all the utensils you will need to prepare your food. It is 1 bath with 2 bedrooms which includes 2 full size beds and a set of bunk beds all linens are included! You're not limited to the beds there are also 2 couches and lots of floor space! A TV, DVD, and VCR are there for your enjoyment. Its a super nice place to get away! Being surrounded by leaf river national forestry hunting is unlimited! You will have a private pier to fish or tie your boat up to. There are very large white sand bars 1/2 mile long or longer. If you're wanting to get away to relax and have a great time with family and friends this is the place for you!

If you are looking for a place to get a away and relax, we have the perfect place just for you! This a cute and cozy cottage sitting directly on a large part of the leaf river. There are sand bars a half mile long right across the river from the camp and also within walking distance. It's a great place for either winter or summer. The fishing is good year round. If u like to hunt deer, squirrels, or hogs the camp is located in the center of the leaf river management area. So from bonfires to 4 wheeler riding to just playing outside there's fun for all ages. So come and have a good time with friends and family!!

Great Weekend Getaway

My wife and I rented this secluded cabin just to get away for the weekend and de-stress. It was perfect for what we wanted. The cabin is very secluded and is spacious. Very nice area under the cabin with swings. We cooked out on the grill and enjoyed the outdoors. Be prepared if it rains, because the road leading to the cabin is definetly muddy and "off road". I'm glad I was in a truck. It's very quiet out there and a great place to watch movies or read. It's right on the Leaf River. The river was way up when we went, so unfortunatley we didn't get to use the sandbar, but it is probably great when the river is lower. The cabin description and photos are very accurate. Although we didn't go there, there is a catfish house about 20 minutes down the road in Benndale. The owner called the day after we got home to check on everything before he ran my card. I would recommend this cabin if you are looking for a remote, secluded weekend getaway.

I took my three boys there for an Easter weekend get-away trip that was our first break since a stressful divorce. The cabin is cute on the outside, but the interior was filthy!! Dust on everything, TV doesn't work, mouse droppings all in the second bedroom, used razors in the bathroom along with used bar soap. Even my boys were leary and refused to sleep in the bedroom. After we were there about an hour the lights went off, I called the owner several times and got no response. We finally figured out that the breaker box switch was faulty and was able to get them on, however they continued to go out randomly. I emailed the owner to tell him that I wanted to leave but wanted to be assured that I wouldn't be charged, and still NO response. Given that it was Easter weekend and we were 5 hours from home we just stayed. The owner showed up the following day assuming that I had left to check the light issue.. not worth the money that I was charged!! I actually asked for either a lower rate OR to take off the cleaning fee because this place wasn't remotely clean....those 2 requests have been ignored.
