Casa Feliz – has a large ornate wrought iron balcony that is uniquely surrounded by tropical shade trees which provide daily habitats for birds of all kinds, including canaries, macaws and songbirds galore! Imagine having your early morning cup of Costa Rican coffee on the balcony while being serenaded by myriads of songbirds.
Casa Feliz -- faces West and has spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Closer in it also overlooks a large free-formed swimming pool, hot tub and wading pool a short walk away from the condo. Adjacent to the pool is a thatch-covered Lanai providing internet service, electrical connections, lighting, tables and comfortable seating.

Hi: My name is Lillian Bickel. I live in the popular mountain and lake resort community of Summit County. The picturesque Lake Dillon provides summertime sailing, water sports, hiking, art shows and music festivals. The surrounding mountains provide six world-class ski areas all within a 10 to 40 minute drive from my home and community.
My hobbies include: aerobics, beach combing, biking, duplicate bridge, hiking, skiing and traveling. I love my condo in Costa Rica as well as the Costa Rican people who are genuine, courteous and extremely congenial.
About the Owner: I was born in 'Cajun Country' in a small town near the Gulf of Mexico in South Louisiana and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Louisiana (Lafayette.) My residence for the last 40 years of my adult life, however, has been Colorado...a magnificent state that's impossible to ever leave.
My business and personal endeavors include owning a national finance business, serving in local, state and national political positions, and leading missionary teams on short-term missions to several foreign countries.
Enough about me. Kudos to the Costa Rican people.

My "Standard Rate" is listed as $250. Easter and Holiday rates are excluded from these rates. Not excluded, however, is a Green (rainy) Season rate which could be as low as $175 per night.

Villas Del Pacifco is strategically located in central Costa Rica on the Pacific Coast Highway where guests can tour Costa Rica country from North to South and all about while having a luxurious, full-sized, fully-equipped, cost-effective condo as a home base with no need to pack up and move every 2-3 days.
If I haven't said it before--other VDP Owners have said that our "community"in the highly desirable Esterillos Este area of Costa Rica is nestled away in the rolling hills adjacent to the Pacific Coast Highway away from the 'bustling crowds of towns yet close to beaches, fine Costa Rican restaurants, horseback riding, mini marts, zip lining spas, and other tourist attractions.
Unique Benefits of this Condo: My condo is situated on the entire 2nd floor of a stand alone building situated on the a very high ridge providing unencumbered views of the Pacific Ocean to the West, a Tropical Forest to the North and Mountain Ranges to the South. The front of the condo overlooks a large free-formed swimming pool, hot tub and children's wading pool surrounded by colorful gardens and lush landscaping. Adjacent to the pool area is a thatched-roof Lanai, equipped with internet connections and comfortable furnishings.
The Front Bedroom Balcony has a complete arial view of the swimming pool, wading pool, hot tub, Rancyo and the gardens below. It's close proximity enables one to speak to family and friends at the pool below from the balcony above.
The Master Balcony off the Livingroom is a my favorite spot in the early morning to relax in the "cool" morning breezes with a steaming cup of delicious Costa Rican coffee while being serenaded by a multitude of colorful Costa Rican songbirds in the adjacent shade trees.
A;so unique is Bejuco Beach which is a 5-minute drive from the condo. The beach is spectacular and goes on for miles and miles. Lined with picturesque palm trees, Bejuco is a tranquil, spot for swimming, surfing, shelling, sunbathing and sunset viewing, relatively undiscovered by tourists. Several restaurants, offering fine local and American, cuisine are within walking distance along the beachfront.
Wonderful getaway in a beautiful location! Imagine this, a view and sound of the ocean from the balcony as well as the pool, wading area and hot tub located right below. Being from Colorado I especially appreciate the lush tropic floral gardens and thick green landscaping while listening to the tropic birds. The unit is quiet but other guests or home owners are also present for the chance to have social interaction. My personal favorite activity in Costa Rica is as a beginner surfer. With the help of instructors the surf was easy enough for me to get up on the surf board (60 plus year old women) but challenging enough for the World Championship of surfing to be held in the area. I was able to find quality surfing instructors both at the local beach and in neighboring Jaco. Surfing is much like skiing; you can find “green” waves and “black diamond” waves just a short distance away depending on wind, tides, and bottom structure. Riding the zip lines over the rain forest with the view of the ocean approaching was also one of my favorite days. Located on site is a stable with horses and tack for a ride on the trails where I overlooked the ocean, rolling hills and saw and heard monkeys calling. Often in the evenings, we’d travel to a local restaurant where we dined on local fish delicacies and fresh fruits and vegetables. One year of the two I stayed at this condo, we chose to travel by local bus both to and from the airport and visit the neighboring towns for groceries and activities. I always felt comfortable and safe and enjoyed the local Costa Ricans. I am a non- Spanish speaker, but the locals went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I highly recommend this condo for a peaceful getaway. I traveled with a group of 5 women once and two of us on another stay and found the accommodations to be beautifully decorated, very functional and clean. I vote “yes” for this being a place to stay.
A wonderful getaway. This is a very beautifully decorated, comfortable condo that accommodated 6 adults for a week. The grounds are very lovely and the pools are just a delight. Very often we were the only ones using the facilities. The beaches, about a 5 minute drive away, were so beautiful and hardly another person on the beach. The local restaurants were quaint and the food was excellent. We never had a bad meal while we were there. This condo is remote, yet close enough to enjoy the tourist attractions. You will need a car. As stated in the description it is a second tiered condo so there are many steps. Something to consider if you have any physical limitations. We really enjoyed our stay.
The resort community of Villas Del Pacifico is ideally situated between the popular beach and shopping town of Jaco, the sport-fishing town of Quepos and the and the enormously popular Manuel Antonio National Park. Casa Feliz is ideally located for day trips to the north or south to popular attractions including ziplining, sport fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, whale and dolphin watching, shopping.
Playa Bejuco (Bejuco Beach) is about 5 minutes away, just across the highway. Locals and visitors alike frequent Playa Bejuco for swimming, surfing, shelling, sunbathing and glorious sunset-watching.
Costa Rican and Caribbean restaurants with fresh seafood abound throughout the area--The Alma Del Pacifico, the Delfin, the Pelican, Los Almendros, Chepes and the Backyard to name a few.

This condo is on the upper level of a stand-alone building with fantastic ocean views. Maximum occupancy is 6 persons. Weekly rate is your best value. Saturday to Saturday is the preferred changeover day. Superbly furnished with designer decor, fine carpets, artwork, dishware, cookware and small appliances. Owner-manager's permission is required for unrelated single parties.
This property is Owner-Managed. Please contact the owner directly by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss reservation details. A 20-day advance payment must be made on all reservations in order to schedule Cable TV hookup for the condo. Payment by check is mailed to owner. Payment in Costa Rica is made per owner's instructions.
