A visit to the Inn is a delightful experience. This beautiful Victorian Home contains a spacious, beautifully appointed 4,950 square feet, sure to create that special experience while visiting in Middle Tennessee. Have a special occasion? Ask about a Victorian Afternoon Tea. Want an evening to remember? Ask about the meal our chef can prepare especially for you and your family and friends. We ae pet friendly, conditional. The best of three worlds! Beautifully appointed Victorian Home - 1/2 block off Main Street in Historic Downtown Franklin, TN -- ideally situated to host your wedding, rehearsal dinner or other special event. Great kitchen for your personal use or why not let us prepare one or more dinners while you relax. This house built in 1892 has been completely renovated and is conveniently located ½ block off the town square, Numerous antiques complement modern furnishings and décor, reminiscent of comfortable living at the turn of the twentieth century.

EACH BEDROOM HAS ITS OWN PRIVATE BATH WITH AN ABUNDANCE OF HOT WATER.

Walking distance to dining, you will visit the shops on Main Street, the Franklin Theater, antiques and within a short drive to historic sites and much more. The Inn offers afternoon tea. group luncheons, and dinners.

The King Suite located in the main house is accessed off the rear courtyard and contains 400 sq ft+-. This suite has a king size bed, 60” wall mounted high definition television with DVD player, sofa bed and overstuffed chair for your relaxation.

Three Queen Suites are located upstairs with two sitting rooms, equipped with a 55” high definition television with DVD player, sofas and comfortable chairs for relaxation. The Inn is ideal for your wedding or other group event and is perfect for a get away retreat,both for personal relaxation and for professional development and presents a perfect setting for a music, spiritual or professional retreat.

The Kitchen is equipped with a gas range, refrigeration, microwave, toaster, ice machine and prep table.

A gas grill is available for outdoor grilling.

The Inn can be made available for your event for an additional fee.

EVENTS WHICH CAN BE SCHEDULED ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL. THE OWNERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SCHEDULE AN EVENT WHICH WILL NOT BE INTRUSIVE TO THE LODGING AREA. SEE RENTAL AGREEMENT FOR DETAILS.

About Bud Carman

Owners are Bud & Barbara Carman. We live six minutes away from the Inn and can be responsive in a timely way to assist with any question or concern. We are only a text or cell phone call away for you!

Why Bud Carman chose Franklin

We fell in love with this property on the first visit. We learned the house was constructed in 1892 as 'a Victorian Home in the Queen Anne Style'. The house is absolutely beautiful and we have enjoyed decorating it so much. We are located in Franklin's Historic District and in addition to lodging, host weddings, bridal luncheons, afternoon teas and countless birthday and anniversary parties. The house was constructed as a residence in 1892. Why this property? We just loved it and still do! That's why. Although we live a few minutes away, hanging out here is fun and the large screen tv's provide a favorite get away spot for the sports lovers in our family. In January 2002 when I learned this property was on the market, my first thought was how nice it would be to own a victorian home in Franklin's historic district, and that thought has become even nicer over the years.

What makes this house unique

The queen suites are upstairs, away from the entry level area, assuring an abundance of privacy. The King suite has its own separate entrance and privacy, located off the canopied courtyard.

Escape w/ Family

What a wonderful home and community! Pleasure for all 11 of us who found the accommodations to be more than perfect escape. We never made it to Nashville, no need as Franklin has escape for all. Walk around town there's shopping and plenty of restaurants to suit any appetite, we took the scenic route and learned about the battle of Franklin, some went fishing and played golf nearby. Bud was wonderful host, place was very clean, beds were wonderful to sleep in! Kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty to cook with (we opted to plan meals and eat at home). Sat night they had live music in square which we all enjoyed. Definitely would rent this home again and highly recommend to all families - especially adults!

Bud and Barbara are wonderful folks who go the extra mile as hosts. The beds and mattresses are very comfortable even for those with back problems. Great set-up -- better than expected! Worked well. Lovely home. Well maintained.
