Welcome to our ranch style home in SE Portland just South of Mt. Tabor. It's on a quiet tree lined street with plenty of parking.

There are 3 large bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom with a porcelain tub and shower. So there is room for 6 people in 3 beds. Then i can provide air mattresses for 2 to 4 more, and there's a comfie sofa and love seat available.
The largest of the 3 bedrooms has a Queen sized bed with a very comfortable pillow topped mattress. The room measures 12' x 15' with a large walk in closet. There is also a desk and office chair, and a small reading library.
The second bedroom also has a Queen sized pillow topped mattress. And a walk in closet, desk and ergonomic office chair. It measures 11'x15'.
The third bathroom has a full sized, pillow topped bed. It also has a dresser, a desk and ergonomic office chair, and measures 11'x15'. It has a reading library of fiction, metaphysical, and non fiction books.
Each bedroom has super high speed (30mbps) internet/wifi.
There is a full service kitchen with all the amenities, including microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, blender, and juicer.
There is a dining room area with a cherry wood table set for 4 people (there is an extension available to widen the table). There is a larger than life size Buddha statue from a temple in Cambodia in the corner, remnants of a retreat center the owner founded many years ago in Portland.
The living room has 2 sofas and a plasma HDTV with cable, including HBO and On Demand. There is also a DVD player.
There is a patio that is a wonderful place to sit and hang out, and a large backyard with a National Heritage Sequoia Tree, a pear tree, and a gingko tree. There is also an organic garden, with fresh tomatoes and other vegetables.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a mandatory damage waiver fee that is $49.50 and protects you for up to $2500 in damages.
There is a daylight basement on the premises, which can be part of the rental. it includes 2 very large sleeping spaces, a bathroom/shower/sink, and a kitchenette. This space is separated from the main floor by a door that can be locked.
Usually the owner is living in that area. It has its own separate entrance and exit.
Important: During the week, there are a few people who manage my business from a small office in the basement. They are usually here from 9:30 am to 2pm. They also have access to the garage, which is used as our warehouse.
The washer and dryer are in the downstairs section of the house. You are free to use them; it's $10 a load, and that includes the detergent. You may have to speak with John and give notice to get access to the downstairs.
There are also 2 cats on the premises, who are indoor outdoor and stay with the owner. They roam around the yard and may be available for petting. If you let them in the upstairs, please make sure you let them out at some point; they have no way out on their own.
I've been successfully renting this property for 4 years now. I've been on VRBO for almost 2 years, and half of my bookings come from this site.
